I'd be willing to teach you, we could start out with something small like a wargame or a training exercise between our nation's troops.

Every nation has some sort of army, whether it ranges from a professional and well-equipped battle force to something along the lines of a local militia armed with shotguns and AK-47's.

Seeing is how you're starting out and I'm guessing you're going to roleplay in modern times, you'd have a mediocre trained and equipped army with almost no air force or navy.

OOC:
There are pacifist nations, you know. I recently disbanded my army and set a pacifist communist policy, attempting to make peace between the communist/socialist ideology and the rest of the international communist, even if their ideologies conflict our own.

Anyway, back to the topic.

Work out your numbers, and I'll make something to match.

I think that you would have a lot more rifle infantry than you would rocket-armed infantry since rifle infantry are the cheapest unit to create and are the core of your army.

Numbers for the tanks are pretty high, unless they are really cheap and old tanks. (i.e Soviet-era T-34's and the odd T-55)

how bout now
Midlonia
07-03-2004, 11:20
that is about my Army when i started out... though the tanks would have to be t-55's or maybe t-64's... i'll help out...though to many MGs 1/200 would be enough
(Own militia forces)
5500 Rifle men
200 tanks (t-55&T-64's)
250 machine guns
300 AT men
15 Howitsers

OOC: these are Militia/the Midlonian Civilian army consisting of men& women who need training

Realistically, you wouldn't have that many weapons heaped in with the bulk of your infantry. Midlonia's example is pretty good actually, follow the same type of formula they went with and you'll have a good roster.
