Edolian Ministry of Information
At 0900 hours this morning, the Imperator of Edolia, Erik von Blatterschplitt, spoke at a gathering of foreign officials and diplomats, publically declaring Edolia's neutrality in the so-called "War on Terror." Among other things, he mentioned the over-zealousness with which many nations were conducting their anti-terrorist actions. He however stressed that Edolia would not tolerate terrorist activity within Edolia and any such activity would be rooted out and eliminated. The Imperator further condemned terrorist groups that target civilians stating, "Edolia must condemn in the strongest language, the wanton killing of innocents." He made no comments regarding the use of Edolian intelligence to aid foreign nations in anti-terrorist activities.
