Official Message From The Republic of Markov
The Markovian R&D department was given authorization by the government today to begin resaerching supercavitation for future Markovian naval units.

Supercavitation occurs when an object in a liquid exceeds the speed of 100 knots. At this speed, an object with a "hydrodynamic" design would cause the pressure of the water at the tip of theobject would drop sharply. The object would start to change the liquid to a gas, thus creating a bubble around the object. This near frictionless environment would allow the object to possibly exceed the speed of sound underwater.

R&D will begin in 2 weeks (NS time). The project is expected to be completed by mid May (RL time).
Any donations to help fund this project would be gratfully accepted.
