Missle Experiment Gone Wrong- Taken Care Of

06-03-2004, 21:30
This crisis has been solved.
----------------------

My nation is asking for any help from other nations. A neighbor recently had a missile test, but set the wrong coordinates, and it accidently blew up near a city. We do not need military help, as we know this was an accident, but we do need firefighers/medics and anything else you think may help.

Thank you very much, and I will have your people sent back to you as soon as possible.

I have a group of fifty Red Cross members ready for deployment if you need them. Though I am concerned about your neighbors. How exactly did the 'accidentaly' use the wrong coordinates? Are those responsible being dealt with? And how so?

How m i supposed to help w/ people & all that? :?:
06-03-2004, 21:38
We have sent information teams into the country, and currently have no reason to suspect why they would do this on purpose. They have been close friends, and until we have more info, we can't suspect that this was a cruel act.

The Red Cross members would be great. If you need a ship to come get them, I can send that out right away. You're help is greatly appreciated.

3:00 am, Chocolate House: An aide bursts into the Presidential bedroom. An early riser, President WIllie Wonka looks up from his morning stretches.
"Mr. President, Matterbug just got hit by a stray missile!"
"Oy gevaldt! alert all fire departments within an hour of here! I want them in the air in before the sun comes up!"
"Yes, sir!"

5:00 am, in Hershey Air Force Base: A veritable horde of firefighters from nearby cities, supplemented by volunteer forces, rush into waiting transport planes. one hour later, the planes are in the air, headed for Matterbug with over a thousand firefighters.

Ze Shwagmeister, thank you very much for your firefighters.

We will have a safe landing zone to drop them off, and will have ships to transport them back, unless you would rather do that yourself.

Thanks again.

OOC: whoops! posted with the wrong account. treat Ze Shwagmeister's post as being from this nation, please. I gotta learn to look before I leap.

IC: We know you'd do the same for us, Matterbug. We'll take care of their return, all you need to do is give our firefighters lodging and such until the distaster is over.

Of course.

We have a hotel where the victims, and visitors will be staying while the crisis is being taken care of.

If you ever need anything, be sure to send us a telegram.

The Commonwealth of Bear and Wags has ready at your disposal 455 freshly trained new police officers that it can send in a moments noyice to help with any paece restoration. We would send more if possible but we are currently dealing with uprising from southern guerilla forces at the new constitution signing. Our planes are ready for takeoff when ready.

That would be great!

We want to make sure our nation doesn't have any criminals roaming the streets, while a lot of our security department is looking into the other nation, and fighting the fires, and saving lives.

Thank you very much.
