In support of our close ally, Midlonia, we have ordered 1,000,000 infantary from our 1st, 3rd, 6th, 8th 12th and 21st divisions to Holy Panooly. The troops had just been air dropped into the deep south-west of Holy Panooly, and split into groups of 1000 each their orders to advance north through the jungle, taking Volta and Tangent, and securing everything south-west of the Great Fish River, so allies could make drops. So far there had been no fire fights, and all that could be heard were bombs dropping in the far distance. Suddenly, a machine gun started crackling through the trees ahead

Drop!!! shouted the Sergeant. The front lines of the troops immediately fell to the ground, and started to return fire. Five rocket launchers stepped forward, one took a bullet to the head and fell without a sound. With covering fire, the remaining four fired in the direction of the opposing forces, one rocket slamming into a tree and the remaining 3 making a huge explosion. The attackers were surely dead. To make sure, the Sergeant sent 10 troops to assess the damage done....

USS Ticonderoga and its battle group has been ordered to the shores of Crepes in preparation for airstrikes against Crepes and Holy Panooly.

Deep within the Crepes jungle missle silos are getting ready to fire the missles against the ships from Whittier. The load is NON NUCLEAR and NON CHEMICAL/BIOLOGICAL. While the coordinates are being processed the fight continues

4 minutes later, the FA18 Hornet Flew over red group alpha bravo, and a minute later a huge explosion could be heard, and brilliant red, yellow and orange lit of the sky. The bombs had been dropped. Red group alpha bravo moved forward to assess the damage.

IC: When the bombs where dropped most of the small atemanki force was near the BC troops. The screams from the wounded atemananki soldiers could be heared in the whole valley. While the BC troops followed the tracks they had no idea they were about to stumble into a anti person mine field. And when the first mines would kill the soldiers the Atemananki troops would open fire.

The troops walked carefully, the smell of burning flesh was becoming stronger, and the screams of the wounded louder. They were closing in. Watch out for mines said the Sergeant. The warning was too late, a huge ground-level explosion killed 10's of troops instantly, leaving others with no limbs. Without a second to assess the damage done by the mines, machine gun fire came down from the hills, ripping men apart in the open part of the jungle. The remaing survivors ran back to the cover of the jungle and returned fire on the hills, not really knowing where to shoot. The Sergeant who took shrapnel to his thigh picked up the field radio Back up!! We need back up!! 2 groups were close enough to get there within 10 minutes. The soliders would have to hold out until then.

The Atemananki troops decided to move away from this spot and to lay an ambush further away. If the BC troops would be so foolish not to follow the jungle paths then they would perish from gangreen and malaria without a doubt. Not to mention all the other bamboo booby traps and troops waiting to ambush them.
If they would follow the road north then they would face even more mine fields and an even bigger danger. The Panooly swamps

Realising that there would be more dangers ahead, and knowing that the soldiers would need to be at full strength for the attack of the cities, the sargeants pulled all the groups back to one location. The government had a new a plan to minimalise losses. They would all be airlifted out of the Jungle, and dropped in the more desert like land in the west of the country where the great fish river enters the country. Here they would be given boats, and would be given Naval and air escorts. From here, long range bombardments might just be able to get the city of Tangent. The troops would then by dropped of, and only a short march would be needed to get to the city. The troops moved to a more open part of the jungle to wait for the transports. As the first one arrived, the fred group alpha bravo, who had taken the heaviest losses got on first. The jungle assult had failed. This was plan b.

Thanks to Atemananki's perfect military intelligence we partially picked up a heavily encoded message. The contents had something to do with the Great Fish River and a possible landing. Mines were dropped in the river and small fishing vessels were loaded with C4 to destroy boats with supplies. Several artillery units have been dispatched throughout the wasteland and the swamps to ambush the coming BC troops.

Following a telegram from British Communists, Xawadiland immediately sent troops to their aid. Three transports, each one full of tanks and infantry, were sent towards the Great Fish River to meet with the BC troops and join forces for the assault on Tangent. Two Mig-27's patrolled the skies as the transports headed up the river...

As the Sergeant looked down on the country from the transports, a young private came over to him with a piece of paper in his hand.

In the meantime Crepes was finishing their mobile AA guns set up in the jungle. Flak-Halftrack AA patrols the river and as a nice surpirse we have laid a massive chain at the entrance of the Big Fish River. If they intend to cut the chain, snipers are ready to kill the helpless soldiers.

The Xawadiland transports instantly halted and dropped all cargo off on hte riverbank, so as to avoid the water-mines. The Mig-27's turned round and headed home - they could not be lost. Sergneat-Major John Walsh thanked the BC commander for the intel and out down the phone. The troops loaded into APC's and they set off for the agreed RV point by land. Mine disposal tems scouted ahead...they cleared landmines as they came to them, but were unaware of the artillary...

As the transports were prepping for landing, 2 F/T-38 WASP fighter-bombers flew over the entrance to the river, dropping clusters and ripping up the river and surrounding desert with gattling guns. Soldiers who appeared to be snipers run out into the open from the bombs and got cut down by the gattling guns. The planes made another pass to make sure the barren desert around the river was empty, the jungle was ahead, were there were suer to be more enemy forces. It was now safe for the troops to land. The naval escort was ready. The mines had been cleared, so the boats were waiting for Xawadiland until they could move on Tangent.

Now the combined forces of Xawadiland and British Communists were ready. The commander informed Xawadiland forces of the artillery. A plan was made for 2/3 of the combined forces to follow the river, and the other 1/3 to be on land, just ahead of the boats to take out the artillery. Sarge had written on his helmet Tangent or bust..

Immeadiatly the artillery was in place and began firing at the troops. They must no idea it there and it was a complete surprise.
The Xawadiland troops who were dropped at the riverback were surprised when they saw fishlines with small bells. Without knowing, they walked straight into a major ambush.

Finally after 5 days of wait, the entire Kelcutian 1000 small men had arrived at the capital. It would take 2 more days to land safely in the heavenly mountains. there they could make camp. and prepare for word to move on into the main land of Holy Panooly. They would take The Great Fish River and travel down it towards crepe but then turn towards Tangent. There they could land on the north? side of the river for the night and make way towards Sine.

40 Tomcat bombers screamed overhead, dropping 120 HE bombs into the jungle, many artillery and rocket siles were utterly devastated. The group continued moving, and the 1/3 that was on land came across the devastation from the bombers. Many were dead, an exact figure couldn't be calculated. The remaining alive people were screaming in agony, the troops put them out of their misery, many were close to death, it ws the humane thing to do. There was now a clear path for the boats.

The missle silos were opened and the rockets were fired at the BC beachhead. Everyone was sure they would bring total destruction upon them. With the cleared path, the BC and XL troops had made a fatal mistake. They were open to every kind of assault. 8 B2 bombers lifted of towards the coming forces.

In order to fend off an attack from the north-west a small regiment of HP and Theohuanacu troops were patrolling the Utopia Range and the Heavenly Mountains. Those were seasoned veterans and knew everything about the mountains.

The Kelcuts had designed a special wooden boat for this mission. Each could carry 20 Men, and its sides were high. about 6ft from the water, the boat was completly wood. Except for the high walls coated in thin sheets of steel, and a large point at the front, made of bronze. Along the walls were hatches that could slide open, for a machine gun to prod through.

The kelcuts had brought 60 Boats for all their men and supplies. Each took only 10 Minutes to build, and 5 men per boat. They thought they would have about 10 minutes to get down the river.

That said, how about you guys stop using ICBM's so readily... it's pretty damn hard to tell the difference between a Nuclear ICBM, a Chemical ICBM and a Conventional ICBM. So firing them is very risky because most nations will assume that they are carrying a Nuclear arsenal and if they think you are going to nuke them they will prepare to nuke you back... thus inacting the horrors of mutually assured destruction.

So I'd suggest caution when using them, because I know some nations that have been glassed as a result of this...
