This is interesting - because my realization that the F22 was not carrier compatable forced me to make the request for proposals.

You can make anything carrier capable within limits that is. C-130s tested landing on carriers and were successful though they were way too heavy unfortunately. I want to develop an improved F-111B to operate off my carrier and will soon. Maybe call it the F-111H.

The Elias Navy/Air Force has a similar requirement and the Elias Aerospace Coporation has been devloping a version of the F-35 which would utilise a larger wing and tailplane area to maximise manouverability and low speed performance as well as increasing range. Combining this with more advance RAM coatings and a Crookfur devloped radar, the EA-135/ F/A-35 will offer much improved performance. Visibility is alos improved by using a longer and more ergonomic cockpit layout and canopy. Currently only a STOVL version is being devloped as tths is the only type requested by the Elias Navy/Air FOrce and the Severesky armed forces. but this could be changed should a sufficient order be made:

The problem is the frame on the F22 isn't strong enough for repeated carrier landings - and without the wing folding option, too much space is taken up.

Put a little imagination in it after all, this doesn't have to be so strictly real that it hurts. You can have a little fun with it ;).

Reinforced structure and gear on my F/A-22N give it just as good a landing record as the F-14 and F-18.

My JSF variant will probably work but the folding wing is a problem

Just two bids? I was expecting more as there are quite a few aircraft sellers here normally.

UE - Wolfish Defense Command has selected your bid for further discussions.

We would like, first, to discuss a timeline for a prototype, and the commencement of flight trials.

Ideally Wolfish would like to begin deployments in one NS year, with a gradual phase-in - replacing our current carrier-based craft first.

Are you capable of meeting these requests?
