From The Narickt:

NEWS ITEM: Two members of the Calere and Lebro Party members of the Lagukrof staged a one day sit out in protest to what they called anti-democratic tactics by the Jolora Party, which holds slim majorities in both. Lebro party spokesperson Ken Myers accused Jolora Party leaders of submitting one copy of a recently passed law to members of their party and another copy to Jolorans. The law, recently passed, assesses very high taxes on the wealthiest D.U.C.K.Y. citizens, often as much as 100%. Lebros call the measure "punitive" and "a declaration of war upon the economy", while Jolorans call the law, "equitable" and say it "levels the playing field for the poorest Ytovians."

NEWS ITEM: Dachshund Cinema has approved work for a movie on the rise of the new state religion of Limavady. The movie, tentatively entitled _The_Sun_King_ is said to include scenes of torture and rape on the part of Limavady authorities upon those of unapproved religions. Refugees of Limavady, many of whom were consulted in writing the script, have hailed the movie as a chance to finally let their story be heard.
