Placement of Terrorist Cell in Joccia(Open RP, Attn. Joccia)

04-03-2004, 16:59
OOC: Jocia, would you mind quickly describing the immigration process of your nation? I'd like to try to get a couple cells in, through RP of course, and need to know how to start.

Joccia has only 2 civilian airports and 3 ports; they are as follows:

Irvine International Airport – a very large airport along the lines of Heathrow, able to deal with high-volume traffic, reasonably security conscious, X-rays, sonic scanners, and of course trained Joccian Fighting Guinea Pigs as free-roaming ‘sniffers’.

Prestwick International Freight Terminal - mainly a UPS hub, able to handle some passengers, part of RJNAS Prestwick coastguard base, military security.

Troon Container port – high volume freight harbour, also harbour for ferries from Albione, Ostaria, and Nac Mac Feigle.

Glesgae Clyde Port – Main Port for the country and main point of entry for immigration, HJM Customs and Excise HQ, but rather under funded of late. Currently the port is the subject of a ministerial enquiry.

Emayefive International Subversives port, currently the favourite destination port for those wishing to enter the country illegally or for malicious purposes – guaranteed no security hassles at all.

Joccia will accept only standardised passports which contain the following information

The Document shall contain information as follows:

1 Political Orientation

Thomas MacKintyre walked up the steps to the Customs and Excise offices situated in the main port complex in Glesgae. The automatic doors opened admitting him to the brightly lit hallway. A uniformed security guard approached him.

“Can I help you sir?

MacKintyre produced a card from his wallet and showed it to the guard.

“Oh, just one moment Sir, if you wouldn’t mind waiting here.”

The discomfited guard scurried off to a second, lounging behind a desk. A whispered conversation took place, the seated figure sat bolt upright and reached for a telephone.

“I don’t think that’ll be necessary, do you?”

MacKintyre had come up silently and was gratified by the shocked and guilty looks he received.

“I’ll just find my own way up, I don’t really want to be announced, understand?”

OOC: Okay, I'm not going to be using the airports, some final info before I start rping.
1. How easily can officials at Glesgae be bribed to allow a few crates of cargo to go by "unhassled?"
2. How well guarded is troon?
3. Could you be more descriptive of Emayefive International Subversives port? What's it like, is there any security actually there? And can you go through it with weaponry, or no?

As soon as I have this info, I should be ready to start rping the entrance of eight cells of four men each into your nation.
Please note, however, that only around four will actually strike. Two will probably be cought, and another two I will be keeping around just in case (for a later strike). Note, this is OOC...

OOC Answers:

1. this is one of the things being investigated by the Government at the moment.

2. Guarded? It's a commercial port!

3.I think the clue is in the title...

The small Armed Republic of Sino Marine Corps presence in Joccia is to considering the deployment of spec-ops for CT (counter terroritst) training with their Joccian counterparts.

OOC: Cool, thanks. Sorry about that, internet went out. Anyway...
IC:
Claire Monsuls walked up the steps to the Customs and Excise Offices at Gesgae. Approaching the front desk, she smiled at the guards. "Perhaps I could talk to somebody...incharge?" she asked.
___________________________________________________________
Bob Thomas walked off a small freightor at Emayefive International Subversives port, and looked around. There were some people exiting boats with carge all over the place, but no security. He smiled. Perfect. Looking around, he spotted another two or three of his men getting off ships.

Him, and the other 23 or so terrorists entering the port that day, all carying a single toat bag, began walking towards the exits of the port. They comprised six of the eight cells entering the nation, and so had chosen this port to come in through.
____________________________________________________________
Daniel Weisman walked through the bustling docks at the Troon Container Port, and looked around. Over in the distance, he saw the three other members of his cell talking. Walking over, he smiled at them. "Alright guys, which one's are ours?" he asked.

They pointed to a group of four large cargo containers which were sitting at another dock. Standing around them were four more men, and he guessed they were the other cell coming through this port today.

He turned to his cell. "Alright, come on, we need to get over there." The walk was about ten minutes, and, upon getting there, he pulled out a key. His equal in their cell pulled out an identical key, and they opened the four cargo containers.

Inside each contained were two vans. Eight in all...enough to give every cell an unregistered (or fakely registered) vehicle. One man from each cell got into each, and, immediatly splitting up after leaving Troon, the eight vans drove towards Emayefive.
___________________________________________________________

OOC: Okay, for those who don't follow, here's what's up. Claire is incharge of all eight of the cells, and is arranging a way for them to exit the country (via Glesgae) after they struck...assuming they survive the strike. This will also be used if one of the cells is discovered.

Now, at Emayefive, six of the cells (none having had contact with one another) will exit at diffirent points, and find one of the vans parked there with keys in the ignition. Each of these cells will then drive off to their covers (mostly hotels and such). They may get second or third vehicles, dependingly, at a later time, but for now they only have the vans.

The last two cells, the ones who drove the vans in the first place, will take the two remaining vans, and split up. They are the pernament vans, and each is heading to either an apartment complex of a house. They will start new lives there....untill they are activated in a few years. These two cells will most likely, out side of the van, have a cell and an apartment/house for each of their members by the time the other cells have struck.

goodluck terrorist cells! :)
OOC: Thanks. Oh yes, please note. My entrance may seem too well planned, even a godmod, but only if you don't look at it greatly. Please realize that, besides the two cells that are remaining for a while (their well covered), the rest....have left traces.

1. The four cargo crates had to be rented.
2. The dock area where they unloaded the cargo crates was rented.
3. Once you find out where the crates were rented, you can find where
the vans were bought, and who bought them.
4. Someone was bound to notice 8 vans leaving Troon or 24 men with toat bags leaving Emayefive.

This is all for later rping, but I wanted to put it in. Please note: this is an OOC comment..and my actions thus far (I hope) weren't godmodding.

this is an OOC comment..and my actions thus far (I hope) weren't godmodding.

OOC: Godmoding is like saying "OMG I DRIVZOR 11111!!!!1111!!oneone white vans into your city! Den tey EXPLOD!!!!1111oneone!" You most certainly aren't godmoding. You are realistically placing terrorists into a country, not just having them magically appear there. I applaud you. In fact, lots of people seem to be actually rping entrance into a nation. I hope this is a sign of better things to come. But I digress.

At the exit of Troon International Container port, the second of the four vans is directed into the Customs and Excise Examination shed, the other three are waved through the exit.

At Emayefive International Subversives port, there are no checks, the customs point is not even manned, but cameras have followed every movement of every person entering. As they passed through the exit concourse, scanners, both x-ray and sonic, screened the contents of their bags, clothes and even shoes, showed the contents of their internal organs and revealed that one of the persons had a heart pace maker, another had a titanium rod in his knee, everything else that they carried would be scrutinised.

OOC I hope you said the name of this place out loud to yourself...
EM - Aye - Five...

At Glesgae, the security guard, still rattled by the earlier visitation, asks the young lady to take a seat, and phones up to reception on the first floor.

He returns some minutes later and informs Ms Monsuls that she will be seen shortly.

At Troon International Container port the last of the second group of four vans is directed into a holding area by security personnel.
14-03-2004, 00:37
Glesgae: The woman nodded, and sat down, waiting.

Troon: The first four vans left at normal speed (this included the two vans for the pernament cells), and the last four followed the security instructions. Pulling into the holding area, the four men got out. Sadly enough, they comprised one of the two cells that had been designed to stay pernamently. The men stood, waiting for security to do whatever.

OOC: Would bribing Troon officials be possible?

Emayefive: Each of the men was carying an AK-47 in their bag, along with a couple smaller weapons (pistols and such). Each went to their assigned points, and three of the four man cells left in three of the vans. Another three cells waited for the vans currently at Troon, and the last van took the four members of one of the pernament cells to their apartments.

OOC: Not quite sure I follow you Joccia....Em-Aye-Five?
14-03-2004, 13:23
OOC: Em-Aye-Five = M.I.5. gettit?

Glesgae: After about 25 minutes, a small bespectacled man appears from a stairwell. He has a stuffy, officious air about him. He approaches the woman.

"Sorry for the wait" he says "We are rather busy you know. May I see your identity papers please?"

Troon: The occupants of the van in the examination shed are shown to a waiting room whilst their vehicle is examined.

OOC: examination of the vehicle is a normal spot check. Scanners are used, physical examination takes place and trained Joccian Fighting Sniffer Guinea Pigs are allowed to roam the vehicle.

The second van is sitting in the Holding Area, a uniformed man walks to the drivers side and taps on the window.

OOC: Bribery? The only way to find out is to try...

Emayefive: Each of the vans is photographed and laser-tagged giving a GPS fix, making tracking from high altitude possible. As they leave onto the A11, the access road, a dirty 1995 van marked "Alf's Electricals" pulls into the traffic flow behind them.
15-03-2004, 00:00
Emayefive: The four vans split up as soon as they hit a major road. One goes left, one goes right, one goes straight, and one turns around to hit an exit they already passed. Which to follow?

Troon: One of the terrorists walks up to the guard. "Look, buddy, let me be blunt. I'm part of an opening a shipping co., and I really need to see my boss ASAP. He'll fire me if I don't get there with the other vans." he looks both ways. "I was wondering if there would be any way me and my pals could simply bypass the security check and leave?"

OOC: Why did I get ignored?
15-03-2004, 10:18
OOC: Sino, I thought you were undercover?

IC: Emayefive - The scruffy looking "Alf's Electricals" van pulls onto the hard shoulder with a flat tyre, moments later two shiny black vans bracket it, disgorging several armed SAS operatives, who drag the occupants out at gun point and arrest them, then shoot them.

Troon: Sid McCreep, the security guard is close to retirement age, 45 in Joccia, he is looking forward to a meagre pension, and a life of near poverty. His beady eyes brighten and he looks sideways at the van driver.

"These are difficult times sir, getting a van out of here could be quite 'difficult' if you get my drift, I mean, in what way do you mean 'bypass' security?
15-03-2004, 16:40
OOC: Please, please. A chance to RP my guys response. The van was locked, you couldn't just suddenly appear inside it and shoot them.

Troon: "Oh...I don't know. Tell me, you got an offshore bank account with three million USD in it? Would you like one?" the terrorist said leisurely, acting as if the guard deserved to have one.

Emayefive: The other three vans continue traveling. One of them pulls inside a warehouse a few miles from the place, and is not seen again. However, other vehicles are seen exiting the warehouse. The other two vans travel around the city for a couple hours before changing their license plates and pulling into two seperate hotels.

Pulled over van: Seeing the incoming troops, and realizing they were fucked, the terrorists detonated the explosives in van. They would have died in a suicide bombing anyway, but now they didn't get to take out what they'd wanted to.

OOC please actually read my posts  the 'Alf's Electricals' van????? Since when was that one of yours?

If you don't read the posts, and blindly go on with whatever you had decided to do, without interaction, then there's not alot of point my playing is there?

17-03-2004, 14:49
OOC: Damn...good point. Apologies. Assumed you were saying that was one of mine...Alf's electrical..then who the fuck did you just kill?
17-03-2004, 17:54
OOC - It's not important who just got killed, it just might give you an insight into the way things are in Joccia... I am sure the SAS operatives will justify their actions sooner or later to the relevant authorities, if they remember, of course!

Back in Character:

Troon: "That's an awful lot of money, sounds like a dream, too much like a dream fer me! I don't trust anything I haven't got in my hand, if yer get what I mean?" The guard treats the man to a knowing wink.....

The other van in the inspection shed has been stripped down, seats out, floor up, fenders removed... that kind of thing. The occupants of the van are still in the waiting room.

Emayefive Ten minutes after the van has pulled into the warehouse, security forces, including bomb squad and forensic ops arrive on the scene. and surround the building. Robotic devices are sent in to examine the interior.

A man in grubby overalls from the gas station across the street comes over and talks to the security men.

Glesgae

"Madam, your papers please"
21-03-2004, 16:43
Glesgae: Nodding, the woman handed over her papers, which were in order.

Troon: Well, how much would you like in your hand? I got quite a bit on me...

Emayefive: The warehouse is nearly empty. There's a small office with a light on in the back, and a dead body sprawled across the desk in that office. A green van is sitting in the middle of the warehouse. It's empty.
23-03-2004, 16:32
Glesgae

"Ah thank you madam, I'll just go and check these. If you would be so kind as to wait here, I won't be a moment."

The small bespectacled man walks across the foyer and through a doorway, closing the door behind him.

Troon

"Aye weel a'm tekkin' an awfy risk y'ken, I don't see as how I could arrange to help ye fer less than, say $2000?" the man blushes and looks at the ground.

Emayefive

After a very quick examination of the warehouse, the specialists leave, accompanied by the man in grubby overalls, and the civilian police take over.
