President Hoffman of the Austar Union prepares a telivised speech, that would be delivered to the public. It was sure to reach the shores of Irkust.

"To the head of government,

I formally issue this ultimatum, that you will discommence all forms of terrorism against ANY nation. We have observed your terrorist hits on The Republic of Cabaron, and if you do not withdraw your forces form their borders, we will have little choice but to invade you and your territories. You have until 4:00pm GMT to respond. At this very moment, several Akila Class Submarines are being sent to commence strikes on your nation if you do not conceed.

"Captain, we have reached Irkrust waters. Battlegroups two and three have reported they are on their way.", reports the Communications Officer

"Good, submerge the ship at 450 feet, activate the driveline system, make us invisible...But before you do, send off a message to the Battlegroup telling them to do the same. Get them to move to their designated co-ordinates.", ordered the Captain

"Yes Sir.", replied the Communications Officer as he went to complete his orders....

Message to the Irkrustian Government. Our fleets are either already, or moving into position off your coast. You will comply with our demand by the deadline, or our fleets will be ordered to fire on your ports...

General Kosgrav stood in front of the President, "Sir, the amount of time we have delegated to them has expired. Your orders?"

"Commence the invasion," replied the President, "Its important that the world know we will keep our word. They will take the name of my country seriously!"

"Sir, with due respect, I dont think we are being completly fair. I dont think the deadline was long enough...", protested the General

"I dont care General! Terrorists deserve nothing, and we will fight to smite their kind off the earth! You will activate the invasion!", ordered the President

General Kosgrav stood at attention, "Yes Sir! Right Away!"

JUST OFF THE COAST OF IRKRUST, ABOARD THE USS ALRINA

"Sir, we have recieved orders to begin the attack." reported the Communications Officer
The Captain read the message, and looked up confidently, "Weapons Officer, begin the firing procedure. Communications, send off a message to battlegroups two and three to do the same..."

"Yes Sir!", replied a chorus of voices.

Almost immediatly, the submarines began to launch their missiles at all major port town and cities...the invasion had begun...

In the meantime, twelve B-52 Bombers were taking off in the Austar Union to begin raids on Irkrust Air Defenses...

Irkust launches missiles from their remaining missile bases at the enemy submarines
AA guns open fire all over the country 50,000 soldiers with m16s and stinger missiles go for anything attempting to land on the coast line.
The Dictator of Irkust is taken to a remote hide out where he can give orders. He sends his republican guard to defend the capital giving the enemy the illusion he is still there. the Dense forest make it tough for B 52's to make much of an effect so the irkust forces uses the enviorment to their advantage.

President Hoffman laughs as he sees the Irkrustian attempt to defend themselves, the poor attempt.

As the AA Guns and soldier open fire, he laughs as he sees that they are targeting....nothing... The Austar Union had no planes just yet in Irkrustian skies...

In the meantime, the missiles shot at the submarines were unable to find a target. There apparently were no submarines according to radars...(OOC: See my Akila Class Submarine thread for more info...)

mostly civilians were killed as the missiles were aimed at cities not military camps the Irkust military is still much intact though the civilians have been killed by the thousands.

did you do 3 waves or post 3 times on accident? anyways
Bombers and Missiles blow up most of the defencive bunkers.
of the 50,000 soldiers 15,000 are dead missing or wounded.
ooc: i dont think you can do 3 waves in that ammount of time so im assuming it was one wave.

Irkust orders:
a flight of MIG 21's is sent up to intercept the enemy B-52's (flight=10)
The Mobile Mortors open fire on anything they can target in the sea.
The Airforce is ready to launch at any moment (when we pick your bombers up on radar the fighters will launch without my having to post)
Mechanics work round the clocking digging trenches and make shift defences on the beach heads and magor cities. AA guns from beach defence open fire. and the one missile base irkust has opens fire on anything they can lock onto on the radar.

Naval forces are still uknown to you.

In the skies of Irkrust...

The B-52 Bombers were already leaving Irkrustian Airspace. On the radar, 10 points were incoming. They had been identified as enemy fighters... There had been 3 Fighters per bomber escorting the very large, valuable ships. As enemy fighters continue inbound, 15 Fighter Escorts peel off to intercept...

On Board one of the fighters...

"Eagle One to Raptor Three, I have targets in range..."
"Roger that Eagle One, fire at will..."

The Pilot fired his missiles, and watched as the missile locked onto its target. All around him, the same was happening...

On board one of the bombers...

"Sir I'm getting a missile inbound...", reported the Radar Officer
"Deploying Countermeasures.......Yes.......Yes.......The missile has followed the countermeasures sir.....and.....detonated..."

The Bombers now were officially out of Irkrustian Airspace, and were safely on their way home. In the meantime, fighter escorts began to fall back to rejoin the bombers after their mini-dogfight with the enemy...

On board the USS Alrina

"Sir, I'm getting morter fire from the surface...", reported the Sound Officer
The Admiral smiled, "Thats fine, they cant get us from down here..."

In the meantime...in international waters...

The invasion fleet were halfway there. So far, the war had being going in their favour...

None of the 10 migs were downed how ever one suffered a radar malfunction and is in repairs.

Irkust Begins to rig key bridges and tunnels with explosives incase they are overtaken.

Mortors fire at anything they can pick up on the SURFACE with their radar. as aust's fighters are rearming 10 more migs are send in to take out some submarines. (no resistance can come from anywhere being that they're so close to the irkust shore line and aust aint 5 minutes away ;) heh)

their 2 mig 21's are sent up to try and help the Aust subs. Unfortunatly chances of them ariving in time is svery slim considering they must fly AROUND irkust to avoid aa fire and stingers.

Irkust sends its bombers with escorts to raid the attack fleets. No resistance can be sortied in time because these are all completely bold and suprising attacks. Migs go for the aircraft carriers decks after all planes have been shot down and the bombers go after the troop carriers a quick hit kill and damage what they can then get back and drop the remaining pay load on the subs.

Irkust sends 4 MIG 21's to intercept Cabarons MIG's a fierce dog fight insues the elite military training of each country pays off as there are no casualties. They simply ran out of ammo and fuel ;p

<once again discussed on AIM>

Irkusts mechanics reinforce the beach head bunkers and begin laying traps. Irkust begins putting explosives on magor and minor roads and or highways. Irkust puts explosives in each city and strategical hold. including its on positions all conected to seperate remotes hand held remotes with The Dictator himself and his most loyal generals.

Irkusts has instated the draft
500,000 civilians have been armed with rifles such as the M1 and pistols.
They quickly become loyal because irkust military is the one place you get alot of pay and free meals. and are also excused from taxes

Civilians are lining up at recruitment booths by the minute.
Because of the new UN resolution and to avoid any UN intervention Irkusts sets an age limit of 18 on their miltary recruitment and draft.

10 more migs are send in to take out some submarines (no resistance can come from anywhere being that they're so close to the irkust shore line and aust aint 5 minutes away heh)

You cant say that my subs are close to the shoreline. In fact, you couldnt even launch an attack on my subs because in case you havent noticed they are Akila Class Submarines. Research the submarine on these forums and you'll find that the submarine is undetectable by radar, therefore you wouldnt even know their location. So this attack is ignored.

Sorry dude, but this is between me and Irkrust. I know you are a part of it, but you arent a part of RPing this war. (Its closed). But thanks for your support anyway. :wink:

You can send in bombers and fighters if you want, but dont RP that I cant respond to your attacks, because my ships are still a reasonable distance off your shore, and so I could actually form a defense against your attack. Also, dont RP my losses. You cant say that you have destroyed my fleet. (Read the stickies) :wink: So this attack is ignored.

Overview of what has happened so far (legally)
1) The AU sends in fleet of Akila Class Submarines. They give Irkrust an ultimatum.
2) The Ultimatum expires, and the subs launch missiles attacks on Irkrust.
3) Civillian casualties are high, and the AU is critisized for its "attacks on civillain populations"
4) The AU denies attacks were made on civillian casualties, and launchs bomber and missile attacks
5) Huge losses are counted on the Irkrustian side, and fighters are launched to intercept bombers
6) Counterattacks are made, leading to a dog-fight between AU and Irkrustian fighters. No damages are launched either side.
7) Irkrustian Forces begin to build traps on Irkrustian soil to await invading AU troops. Conscription is activated in Irkrust.

In Irkrustian Waters...

Two Akila Class Submarines sneak silently into the nation's largest port. Because they are completly undetectable to radar, they have little trouble getting in. Once inside, they begin their attacks, launching several torpedos on Irkrustian Ports. After they empty their load, they leave the port, just a silently as they came in.

Back in the Austar Union, on Flounder Island

Commander Henry John was getting impatient. His orders were to begin the attack at midnight. As the clock ticked closer, to minutes away, he logged into the system.

The center erupted, and alarms began to sound across the island. The following missiles were to be launched:

next off, its dense jungal so you dont know where EVERYTHING is.next off you havn't given me any numberes or a link ican refer to about this sub that cant be touched not to mention by shooting at goverment centers you kill mostly civilians because in an earlier post i said that all important goverment and military staff were evacuated to an secret location.

I dont feel like posting casualties right now im gonna go to the gym... maybe in like 2 hours i'll look at it again......

Its not untouchable, just virtually undetectable. There is a way, but you will have to find that out.

As for not knowing where everything is, I agree that I dont know where everything is, but I would know most places due to intelligence and sattelite imagery.

As for your nation being similar to Kazakstan. I can RP that from now on, but you have never denied having a coastline before. Never mind. From now on, I will use the Kazackstan map as a reference:

Official Statement of the Republic

We officially deny that any missiles were aimed specifically at civillians. All missiles were directed to government, and defensive targets. Any civillian casualties are either at the hand of the Irkrustian Government, or they are a piece of propeganda from the Irkrustian Government.

In the skies over the Irkrustian Jungle...

"On three, we jump. You will hear my orders from this speaker here." said the Paramaster. Everyone nodded. Within minutes, paratroopers were dropping into the Jungle. This was a massive operation. At least 50 000 Troops were going to be dropped over the next 24 hours.

OOC: They are being dropped into the Jungle 100km inland along the Emba River. The soldiers will break up into teams of twenty. Once landed,
20 000 will begin to move Westward towards Atyrau.

MIGs are sent to intercept transport planes.
The drop is detected and the 50,000 Beach Reinforcement Division Based in Oral Makes a sweep of the jungle towards the river.

The Republican guard begins diggin in between aral and Aquotobe.

50km East of Atyrau...[b]

As the troops tread through the jungle, they pause. Something was up ahead. Without warning, something jumped out of the bushes ahead, and troops began to make formation. Luckily, it was just a small bird, and embarressed, the troops continue on their journey to their target city...

Five Hours Later

It had been a long journey, and finally the troops came out on a ridge. Below them, laid the city of Atyrau. From their position, they could see a small legion of troops patrolling the city borders. Their orders were to wait until nightfall...

In the meantime, the troops back at the landing point began making camp, and fortifying against any incoming troops.

As the cargo planes began to leave Irkrustian Airspace, small dots could be seen in the distance...

Immediatly, an equal number of fighters peeled off to intecept them...

In the skies just near Atyrau...

It was a massive attack. 150 Fighter planes were heading straight for the city. Their orders were to destroy any ground defenses on the eastern side of the city, and to act as a preparation for the ground invasion.

One fighter was flying, noticing a gathering of troops.
"Hell Yeah...", said the pilot, launching missiles into the gathering...

dude you really need to post your escort numbers. when you say paratroopers are being dropped i meant my MIG's are intercepting them so you cant exactly move out when im shooting missiles before they dropped....

c'mon man i picked your planes up on radar you also never mentioned an escort notice how i do the exact numbers and classes i send up

theres no way each plane has an escort of 10 fighters and theres also no way you can sortee that fast so obviously not every transports even gonna have an escort if its an over time drop...
