Thousands are now gathering at every performance of this new exciting extreme sport.
It basically involves magnetising a very long strip of metal with a trampoline at the end. The large magnet would be chaged negative. The athlete will then throw themselves of a large platform, usually about 50 m high, on a surf board. This board is charged negative, just as the magnet is. Once within range the board and the magnet would repel each other and the athlete and the board would be send bouncing and hovering along until they rode straight off of the magnet and onto the trampoline.
We have all ready had a few injuries, but none serious. New tricks like flips and turns are being developed and the first races are due to start soon.
