All IM members. DGNT, due to a recent copy-protection scuffle, is considering adding a copyright agreement to the IM.

It would go something like this:
1. If you make something up and post it in your store on the International Mall it is YOURS, nobody else can reproduce it without your permission. If they do so the rest of the nations in the Mall will help to make them stop selling it. However, a warning will be issued in case they dont know of your copyright.

2. If somebody INSIDE the IM copys another persons work they will be subject ot IMMIDIATE banning from IM, their stores will be deleted without warning (any work that they make themselves will be TGed over nationstates so they dont lose their own stuff)

3. A forum will be created for those claiming copyrights on things not in their storefronts, such as names, logos and other things. Certain common or 'real' items will be restricted, you cant own the copyright on the M1A1, steel or the word 'chimp' (unless that is your company name, and then it can only be copy-protected in the context of the name of yoru company, in short, nobody else can have 'Chimp Productions')

Wazzu

Statement by Manar Tawam, Speaker for Wazzu:

"Wazzu corporations have declared mutally that they have absolutely no intent of making trade secrets known to other organizations in some vain attempt at keeping their own products legally theirs. Any entities attempting industrial espionage of Wazzu corporations or forgeries of their products will have to deal with legal actions in all nations that trade with Wazzu and potential action by the Wazzu military.

"However, we recognize that many nations do not have the power or influence to maintain this kind of policy for their own corporations and thus strongly support agreement. Wazzu corporations maintain a strict policy of enlightened buisness ethics and avoid practices that only hurt the global market. Claims against Wazzu corporations should be reported to the Wazzu government for investigation and possible action against claimed offenders."
