Nanakan Terror Cells [Open RP] Everything Must be RPed
Location Unknown, Somewhere in the Nanakan Highlands
Despite Nanakaland's government's most recent attempt to stamp out all traces of terrorism in the nation, the terrorists managed to flee to the Nanakan Highlands where they plan their next strike. The one problem is that all five million terror supporters driven to the Nanakan Highlands could no longer finance terrorism. So, the Nanakan Terror Cells sent out a message, calling for financial aid. However, the government has intercepted the message and is looking throughout the Nanakan Highlands for the terror cells.
Everything Must Be RPed, No Calling Enemy Losses
That means terrorist attacks and counter-terrorist measures have to be posted here - and we have to RP every step of it. You call your own losses, but they must be realistic.
Goals
Foreign Terrorist Goals
1) Recieve message from Nanakan Terror Cells.
2) Send aid through Nanakan defenses.
3) Help RP a terrorist attack.
Local Terrorist Goals [In Order]
1) Make sure message gets to foreign terrorist cells.
2) Make sure aid is recieved.
3) RP a terrorist attack.
Anti-Terrorist Goals [In Any Order]
1) Destroy Nanakan Terror Cells' bases in Nanakan Highlands.
2) Stop terrorist attack.
[i]The terrorists must do their goals in order, but to the anti-terrorists, the order doesn't mattter. Everthing must be RPed realisticly. Nanakaland and I have the right to ignore anyone in this thread for breaking the rules. First group (terrorists or anti-terrorists) to complete all of their goals win.
EDIT:
Locations
Terrorists
Nanakan Highlands - Several secret bases here, only terrorists can access it unless you search for a while to find it.
Abandoned Airfields - See entry in Anti-Terrorist section.
The Nanakan Underground - Actually a system of terrorist supporters in Nanakaland who store weapons and hide terrorists in both Port Nanaka and Nanakapolis.
Anti-Terrorists
Port Nanaka - The port is open for counter-terrorist units to stop in. Please keep to the military docks.
Fort Nanaka - The largest fort in Nanakaland, Fort Nanaka is found in Nanakapolis. This is a place where counter-terrorist units can group together before moving north to the higlands.
Abandoned Airfields - There are several abandoned airfields in the Nanakan Highlands that could serve either side in this RP.
RP Authorized By Nanakaland
Note: The terrorist cells are not government supported. In fact, the government wants to destroy them.

con i send in a giant counter terrorist division?
Only if it's strictly RPed. It must be very acurate and you have to RP the transportation of of the counter-terrorists, the search for the terrorists, and then the attacks on the terrorists.

Should they also RP asking for permission if they are going to legitimately get into the nation too?
Capt. Lewis was watching a Phoenix-class battleship enter harbor, when Sgt. Masters tapped him. "What is it, Masters?"
"Sir, we got the call"
"Ok, get the rest of the team ready."
7 other men joined them. The 9 man team headed to a CH-53SO Sea Stallion. They boarded and the copter take off. These men were Team 1 of the Brydog Martime Special Operations Regiment AKA Phoenix. Capt. Lewis told the mission. "Ok, our job is to found and destory a terrorist group in Nanakaland." "This mission will the usual go in and kill some tangos." As the copter enter Nanakaland airspace, the pliot send the signal. "This is Phoenix-1, We are from Brydog, we are dropping off a CT unit." "Where should will land." Said the pliot.
"There are several abandoned airfields in the Nanakan Highlands left over from when it was an independant nation," replied a voice over a transmission. "I recomend landing on one of them and securing it before the terrorists get hold of all airfields."
Should they also RP asking for permission if they are going to legitimately get into the nation too?

A giant team (500) of counterterrorist marines in ten KC-150s with many engineers among them drop onto the closest airfield in Nanakaland to a coastal deepwater port. Illior high command designates this air field and the surrounding circular mile, Fort relay 1.
one week later, fort relay has been expanded to a two mile radius now. It has barracks built y the engineers and a giant 7 foot sentrywall with .50 caliber machine guns posted every twenty feet. the garrison now totals 5,000 troops. several hangars have been built to support the always coming and going helos from the `4th and 5th naval divisions at sea. 12 JSFs are stationed at fort relay1 along with 30 commanches and an assortment of blackhawks pavelows and pavehawks are stationed there. there is only one entrance in and out of fort relay.
"There are several abandoned airfields in the Nanakan Highlands left over from when it was an independant nation," replied a voice over a transmission. "I recomend landing on one of them and securing it before the terrorists get hold of all airfields."
Roger, The CH-53SO lands at a old field. The team jumps out and secures the area before heading to the barracks. They, then push the copter into a hanger and head for barracks for some sleep.

This is an OOC post:
A few questions:
1. Will the LoD be officially involved with this?
2. If not: Is there a problem with an LoD protector wanting to involve in the situation individually?
3. I won't be able to RP for at least 24 hours, can I save an abandoned airfield without RPing it right now? Since I don't know how the LoD will act on this, I obviously cannot just start RPing now.
4. If I can get involved: How strong are the terrorists? (at least to the knowledge of the nanakan government), I don't want to send in a whole army, just an A-T group (very well equiped, very trained and with the best leaders available of course :) ), I wouldn't like them getting squashed just because I didn't know what they would face.
That's it, thanks in advance.
Nanakaland, I would suggest turning this into a OOC thread for nations to sign up for this, that way you can control the RP and give advise before everyone jumps in and deploys troops...
If you want to carry on then it makes sense, but I get the impression you want this to be big... so maybe you should make this a "signup" thread and then organise alot of it now before getting the big RP started.
[/two pence]
I may consider making this a sign up thread.

I have a few answers.
1. Will the LoD be officially involved with this?
No, unless a terrorist attack actually happens.
2. If not: Is there a problem with an LoD protector wanting to involve in the situation individually?
No problem.
3. I won't be able to RP for at least 24 hours, can I save an abandoned airfield without RPing it right now? Since I don't know how the LoD will act on this, I obviously cannot just start RPing now.
Sure.

They aren't that strong, but they could be strengthened depending on how many terrorist supporters sign up.
That's it, thanks in advance.
You're welcome in advance.

Aboard a Scotia West Airlines Boeing 747, several thousand feet above the Nanakan mainland, Mikhael Schiff shifted uncomfortably in the his seat. It wasn't so much that the seat was uncomfortable. It was, mostly thanks to the inconsiderate passenger seated directly in front of him, but the fully reclined seat-back wasn't what was bothering him at the moment. His apprehensions were centered on the issue of the Daiel Times, or more specifically, on an article in the Daiel Times. The article concerned the recent arrival of more Illior counterterrorist troops. Schiff, of course, didn't really see himself as a terrorist. He provided a service, and it was up to his employers what they did with it. But he understood that regardless of his personal opinions on the subject, not one of those ten thousand men would think twice about shooting him.
"Sir?"
"What?" He looked up at the stewardess, who was somehow managing to look both apologetic and impatient at the same time. "I'm sorry. What did you say?"
"Sir, would you please return your seat-back to the upright and locked position? We're about to land."
"Sure thing." He forced a grin, and pushed the lever to readjust the seat-back. [i]Why does the seat in front of me always seem to lean back farther than mine?[i] he wondered idly.
The plane's intercom crackled to life. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We'll be arriving in Nanakapolis shortly, and for those continuing on to another international destination, here are your gate numbers. For Blatterschplitt, Gate B Bravo Seven. For Canton, Gate E Echo Two. For Chateau..."
Well, at least they wouldn't be actively looking for him. Schiff was fairly certain even the Scotians didn't have a good picture of him, and he'd made a habit early on of constantly changing his appearance. At any rate, if the Nanakan groups were offering employment, he couldn't afford to miss out. The market for bombs was unpredictable, and he was really hurting for cash at the moment.
"...Via'di'arl, Gate C Charlie Fifteen. On behalf of Scotia West Airlines, I hope you had a pleasant flight.

Several dozen teams swept through the Nanakan Highlands, looking for the terror cells.
Haton: Prime Minister's Office
"Comrade Prime Minister, we have reports of terrorist cells operating in Nanakaland..." The Prime Minister looked up from his economic reports, "Very well, send them a message asking if we can send some of the Hat Guard Anti-Terrorism units."
From the desk of the Prime Minister
[code:1:eee6329012]
Hattia has learned of terrorist cells operating within your nation, with permission, we would like to deploy some of our Hat Guard Anti-Terror units to help root out the terrorists.
Thank You
Prime Minister Dimitri Nikolai

OOC: I'm thinking of having a terrorist organization that I RP with join, but I would like to know how the Nanakalandian terrorists tried to contact other terrorist groups.
[OOC: The terrorists sent a messenger out of the country and that messenger transmitted broadcasts to every terrorist organization known to Nanakaland asking for help. Despite their tries, however, Nanakaland managed to hear the message and that is why there is counter-terror measures.]

Severnaya: 0145 Hours
The 4th Hat Guard Anti Terrorist Divison (It only has about 150 people.) stood assembled on a base outside of Severnaya. Brigadier General Kirov addressed his men, "We are going into Nanakaland to assist in the eradication of their terror cells. Load up and meet on the planes at 0200 hours or we will leave without you." The men saluted simultaneously (sp?) and filed out to the barracks to equip themselves.
0200 Hours
The 3 cargo planes taxied down the runway and lumbered off into the sky...

OOC: Thanks. For everyone's information, the organization that I will be using is the 'FLA' or the "Facehuggeria Liberation Army" which is a terrorist organization dedicated to the eradication of all 'lesser' governments (IE, any non islamic, or non human government.)
They are lead by an eginigmatic man known only as 'Mohammed.'
They are not supported by the CF government.
IC:
In the small, incredibly well camouflaged bunker that is Mohammed's base of operations,
"Mohammed...Khalim just picked up a message on the radio. Our Nanakalandian bretheren, who also fight against the oppressors are in turmoil. The oppressive Nanakaland government has been trying to root out anyone even suspected of being a 'terrorist.' Thousands of our fellow freedom fighters have taken to the hills, but their situation is grim. Without
aid, they may fall to the infidels within weeks..."
"What do you advise, Abdul?"
"We must help these freedom fighters against the infidels!"
"Fine. Allah demands that we help others struggling for liberation from such imperialist pigs. Get a group together, and supplies. I am sure that many, many of these self-proclaimed 'good' nations will try to slaughter our brothers."
OOC: The plan is this;
Khalid will take several hundred trained 'terrorists' into Nanakaland by having all of them book passage on different vessels en route to Nanakaland from Central Facehuggeria. (Passenger ships, etc.)
A cargo of weponized anthrax particles, in addition to roughly a thousand AK-47s, and 200 RPG-7 weapons will be shipped via a freighter that will be transporting consumer goods to Nanakaland. Then, Khalid's men will attempt to make contact with the Nanakan underground. Then, they will have the weapons shipped to a small warehouse where NU people will hopefully distribute them to the freedom fighters.
Also note, that while on the ships, the men will be unarmed and most likely undetectable as terrorists. Once inside the country, half of the men will try to meet with the Nanakaland terrorist cells, the other half will attempt to cause as much damage as possible (using fertilizer bombs, etc.)
Now, wether they are actually able to complete all that remains to be seen...

The large air transports drifted down onto the runway and then taxied over to a vacant space. The large hatch on the backs of the planes lowered and revealed the troops and equipment inside. Out of the first plane jogged infantrymen outfitted in full combat fatigues and also a jeep drove out of each of those. The second and third ones revealed more vehicles and supplies, enough to carry all of the troops to their mission. The infantrymen hopped on the vehicles, strung up their flags and drove off towards the highlands...
The unit then grab their gear and head to a mountain pass. They reach the pass and begin to move though it. Their eyes looking for anything that looks not right.
