A Slap in the Face
Daikerta Issues a Challenge to the Terrorist Cells of the World

As the world dives deeper and deeper into the threat of terrorism, many within Daikerta have begun to speculate the security of the homeland. Their fears are well founded, for the Imperial Council has done very little in the past to prepare for unconventional warfare. Maester Mika spoke to the press last Tuesday on this very subject. When asked what Daikerta plans to do to combat the terrorists, Mika replied, "I have approached the Emperor several times over the past few weeks regarding this very same subject. We both understand the immediate threat the radicals pose to our homeland." Seems as if Daikerta won't stand around much longer.

In fact, we have already made our first moves. After the seminar Mika held, the Emperor Luthor Huss took the podium the very next day and announced Daikerta's plans on dealing with the terrorists. "We of the Imperial Council do not believe these terrorists are brave enough to bring their mayhem to our shores," the Emperor grunted with his usual arrogance. "But we do believe they need to be dealt with swiftly."

Uncertain intel from residence living near military bases within Daikerta have reported an increase in activity. "Ya used to only see maybe one er two of them jeeps pullin in and out of the base each day," Alek Stormdrin, a farmer settled just two miles away from Fort Luca stated. "Now it's hard keepin all my sheep from runnin like hell every time an attack helicopter makes its practice runs all through the countryside."

Not many things can be certain when you are dealing with terrorists. One thing that is for certain, though, is that the Brazened Empire has entered the ring and has come out swinging, hard. Perhaps these dealings with the terrorist issue will begin to attract the radicals to our Empire, but that is a risk that Daikerta is willing to take rid the world of terrorists, once and for all.
