NBC News: Akila Class Submarine set to revolutionize the Austarian Navy

Today, after much research, the Navy today announced the release of its new Akila Class Submarine.

This submarine is set to possibly become the key to revolutionise under-surface warfare. In order to keep the advantage with the Austar Union, scientists have been instructed to keep all information about the sea-craft completly top secret. Therefore all information about the submarine's workings and plans will not be released to the public. The Navy however has released that it has adapted current technology to make the Akila virtually undetectable to radar and sattalite systems. It is belived that the submarine can only be detected at periscope depth levels. The navy has made this possible by adapting a new driveline system, which is already implemented into smaller civillian seacraft.

It has been undecided whether the technology will be released to the Republic's allies as yet, however some speculate that it will, to the AU's closest only.

Cost to Manufacture: $1200 Million
Cost to buy NOT FOR SALE

OOC: Before you go and call this submarine a godmod, please consider that I am telling the truth, and that the technology is already out to make this submarine. In fact, this model is quiet possible, and if you do some proper research, you will actually find the research done by the United States, and Former Soviet Union navy...
