For years Traileric implacements have orbited Venus space in high-atmosphere(effectively international area). The choice has been made to claim ownership of some of,if not all of,the planet. Thus it has been publicly declared.Deal with it.

You do realise that due to the air pressure on Venus, a 5 mph wind can knock a typical person flat? 10 mph breaksbones too.

Atmospheric implacements..Harvesting thermal energy. As well as other gases abundant in the atmosphere.

(OOC: Nope. Just have a rather large colony on Mars. And another rather large colony on/around Venus. As does Menelmacar. And Wazzu.)

No-one would stand a chance in Venus' atmosphere. Its hotter on Venus than Mercury, the closest planet to the Sun! Probes sent there in RL have only lasted a few hours or so.

*Am future tech* *Has made alloys cpapble of withstanding the heat of the atmosphere*

Technically the lower atmosphere isn't al lthat bad. It's the high speed acid clouds on entry that you have to be wary of. In future tech, if your alloys are strong enough to withstand the immense atmospheric pressures, all is fair and would last longer than a few hours.

Protective energy fields lend a helping hand too.
