A close call today in the city of Sundane when a sniper's bullet narrowly missed the head of King Bender v2.0. The King was attending a meeting among local government officials regarding expansion of the port. The shot entered the city hall's forum through a window and struck a wall behind the King, mere inches from his head. Security was quickly dispatched and the King was rushed to safety.
Authorities conducted an investigation and determined where the shot came from. The area was combed for clues but nothing has come up. The assailant is still at large, and authorities are questioning eyewitnesses to put an identification on the suspect. So far, there has been no success. A local ranking officer of the Sundane police department had this to say:
"Whoever did this works very clean. We have nothing to go on except for the bullet itself. Not even the casing was found!"
