Today, while riding through Ithraxo's capital, Binthor, an assassination attempt on Vale Odgers, the Dictator for Life of Ithraxo, was made. Three snipers opened fire on his specially modified vehicle while four more machine-gun toting terrorists took down two of his personal body guards. A rocket hit Vale's damaged car, killing the driver, three body guards, and six near-by citizens. All four machine-gunners were killed by guards, which also resulted in the loss of three more citizens lives in the crossfire. The snipers holed themselves up in the building and were taken by a police team only after they killed two hostages. The terrorists were all questioned and executed. We are awaiting further information at this time.

This just in--- One police squad member was killed by the terrorists in the building, bringing the death count to eighteen. Thirty-two are now reported wounded with sixteen civilians, ten body-guards, five police members, and Vale Odgers himself. Vale Odgers was taken to one of his many bunkers in the city. There has still been no names released, but the Aldian Liberation Force (the local gang/terrorist group) is suspected.

The first word has come from Vale Odgers since the attack. He pleas to all anti-terrorist countries to help to destroy the threat to his and many other citizens live's. He has promised to greatly reward all countries who deploy one thousand or more peace-keeping force to Ithraxo's cities.
