Communist Party officials have been interviewed and said they have no connection to the Maoists, though the Communist party is co-ilition party composed of the Red Party, Marxist Party, Father Party, and the small Maoist minority that split off the Red and Father parties. And the Maoist section of the Communist Party has been expelled from parliment.

The Maoist leader (na-Chairman Xiang) has already ordered the Dune Whites party building (the right wing of the High Arrakeen Palace) burned down. They claim that the Royal Party (aka Dune Whites, who wish to reinstate a consitutional monarchy), were planning a revolution to reinstate na-Shah/Liet Sivan (na - to become, potential. Liet - Unifier/King/Emperor).

Plans were seized by Parlimentary Forces from the Whites' parlimentary room for this revolution, and Whites' party officials and the royal family have been placed in a government barracks (for punishment and protection from the rebels).

This new insurgency comes on the heals of the Fremen Religious party ill-fated insurgency over their removal from the Fremen House (lesser house of Parliment) over plans that were discovered to assinate Communist Party leaders.

Now to the point of the post: the Maoists have already taken control of several Fremen Sietches (a kind of commune) and autonomous communes in the north. We wish to appeal the international community for some help. We are sure that our own military can face the Maoists, but it would be much harsher than if some other countries pitched in.

UPDATE: Maoist insurcency has spread to Neo Atlantis (except their entire Communist Party is behind this), Harko City, and Mehtat.

Secretly 1,000 memebers of the Communist Revolutionary Force (CRV) landed in the North of DunePrime. They landed with many arms and soon up to 20,000 more would secretly land.
The CRV is not an official Commuist Likin agency, more like an independent fanatical Communist faction that reside in the East of CL.
The leader, Malcolm Cross ordered his men to find the Maoist leader. They would help the Revolution in whatever way they could.

Talks were underway with Xiang over making the North an autonomous region for the Marxists and granting the Marxists their own Housem; though they have now been interupted by Likons invasion.

DunePrime parlimentary troops have withdrawn south of the north autonomous communes (where Likons' forces are)and are digging in.

*Social Democrat party forces, along with White and Conservative/Libertaian party forces are gathering.

The official Communist Party of Dune refuses to get involved.

*Note - DunePrime's governmental forces are parlimentary forces, DunePrime's constitution allows for parties and royal houses to hold their own private armies.

UPDATE # 1 - The Communist Party splits!

The Red (Trotskyites) and Marxist parties have booted out the Father (stalinist) party.

The Red and Marxist forces have entered on the side of the parlimentary forces. While the Father party has fled to help the Maoists in NeoAtlantis.

UPDATE # 2 - DunePrime and the Fremen Religious party members (who live in the northern sietches) have signed a pact. If DunePrime recognizes their political status once again they will conduct geurilla warfare on the Maoist and invasionary forces.

The Fremen fighters have so far recaptured 2 sietches and the 200 Marxists guarding them have been executed.

we are a bit busey at the momunt but we are with you 100%. We do not want another stalin. To help your goverment out we will give you heavy armored tanks, fighter planes, a few platalions and loades of automatic weapones and you will be in countroll of all of it

Roycelandia is concerned at the rise of another Communist threat, but we don't have any spare troops at the moment.

What we do have, however, are huge numbers of guns and tanks which we can supply you with, should you need them...

DunePrime thanks Yugolsavia and Roycelandia and graciously accepts the aid of armament.

Yugolslavian-made jets, flown by Duneprimian pilots, have bombed two more northern sietches and one commune and DunePrimian C-130's have dropped plenty of arms to the Fremen guerillas. This resulted in the erradication of the Maoist forces in one of sietches, the retreating forces were ambushed by Fremen guerilla, resulting in the retreating forces capture--their execution pending.

Tanks have rolled into the 3 captured sietches (2 were captured ealier; see my post above) and are currently attacking two adjacent communes--awaiting Maoist and invasionary force's reaction.

Meanwhile the communists living in the autonomous communes have joined the Maoist cause, and all attempts to reach Mr. Xiang on cease-fire terms have been fruitless.

DunePrime is still in the need of extra forces as the collective forces (party and parlimentary) are still waiting in their trenches, for the enemy is too concentrated and the DunePrimian commanders are afraid of high casualties.

*[quick occ question] the Maoist forces are my creation, thus I can control without being accused of god-modding, right? The CRV is not a part of Likon, so I'm assuming Likon has no control over them... or atleast they haven't admitted so.

Crates of Roycelandian-manufactured Mk III Lee-Enfield .303 rifles and bayonets, Rhodesian FN-FALs rechambered to .303 calibre, and captured Lusakan AK-47s, as well as ammunition for all these guns, should have arrived for use by Anti-Communist forces.

In addition, we have sent 20 "Meerkat" light tanks (30mm main gun, two .303MGs, crew of 3, top speed 88km/h) as well as ammunition and fuel.

And what's wrong with Dungeons & Dragons? Like NationStates, Dungeons & Dragons is a Roleplaying game. If you have a problem with D&D, you shouldn't be playing NationStates either (and I don't think it will be any great loss to the RP community if you do leave...)
