Credonia Puts ALL Forces On Military Alert In Response To Influx Of Terrorist Attacks Worldwide

Just moments ago, Emperor Alexander Sutton ordered all of Credonia's military forces to DEFCON 2 in response to terrorist attacks happening on many of its allies. Before being whisked into the skies by 'Credonia One', he stated the following: "Credonia has a committment to keep with our allies and to the world and we will uphold thta obligation. We cannot allow these terrorists to get away with killing hundreds and thousands of people, let alone at the same time and in multiple countries. I pledge that Credonia will commit its time and energy to bringing down these selfish barbarians who have no regard for human life. It is time that Credonia once again step forward and help lead the effort against terrorism as we have been so famed for in the past. To our allies, we will help and we give our word that we will find these bastards and smite them from the face of the earth with our allies. Be strong, we must band together and fight these forces. We must stay united, and united shall we be in defeating these evil peoples."

It is said that Credonian military forces will remain in somalia and Aust and control the situations there in those nations, however, all other forces will be recalled and put on active alert. All non mobilized forces are now mobilizing and preparing for orders. Military forces in Stapestry are also preparing for war but only 40% of the forces will be mobilized and used. Stay tuned for developments on this situation.

It has been too long since these attacks began and continued to increase, we now have a figurehead with which we can follow. The ISTJ would of stepped in to the vacum however commitmens elsewhere force us to hold our forces back from the international arena.

However, in the following weeks efforts wil be made to resolve all situations that are preventing us from taking any action, rest assured that threats to free trade, peace and prosperity are not tolerated.

FCN- had you been on earlier, you would have had to react. 7 nations got attacked in 6 different locations in each nation in one single post, not only that there were other terrorist attacks, i couldtd at least 5 happening at the same time (all different posts). That prompted my swift response, you would have done the same.

OOC: i'd say a lot more than that. Ihave nearly 40 allies that are all opposed to terrorism and most would be willing to help, not including the puppet nations i possess, ;-)

NqB is with you Credonia just like in Aust. Full mobilisation of the first fleet begins in earnest as of today. Thousands of Special Forces ops have been dispersed among our nation and Emerald Watch our intelligence network is preparing for retaliatory strikes within terrorist countries.

Thank you for your support. Also, intellegence sources tell us that there will be a MASSIVE nuclear strike on multiple nations part of the NWO by large nations sometime today. You may want to keep an eye out.


Nation Status Update 2/29/2004
Due to recent developments and the threat of nuclear strikes upon allies of Credonia, Emperor Sutton has moved ALL Credonian Strategic Missile Forces to DEFCON 1 and are at maximum readiness to launch. This arsenal consists of over 18,000 nuclear, chemica, and biological warheads, along with EMP to be used before any nuclear attack. Credonian B-2, B-52, and B-1B strategic bombers are now taking to the skies wiuth a full load of nuclear bombs to be dropped at any given time on any nation that launches an ICBM attack on Credonia or her allies.

While approving of the end result, we implore Credonia to not make use of biological and chemical weapons to achieve these ends.

Credonia does not WISH to use these forces, however, should they attack, we would have no choice to retaliate and prepare our forces for ground invasion of the attackers. If they want to live, then they wont attack, and take note that Credonia has every intention of using this strategic arsenal to accomplish its goals and protect its allies and the citizens of the Credonian Empire. I will show no remorse in using these weapons. I will do what i have to do to protect our friends, and people despite my desire to not use them.

ISDF Announcement

It was announced today that a full-scale exercise on a supposed bio-hazard FEB would begin, a spokesmen said that this exercise had been in the planning for several weeks and it would of taken palce regardless of any situations externally.
It is expected the exercise named 'Pelethites' will last for at least two weeks with troops being expected to recreate the likely conditions of surviving in a contaminated environment as well as fighting on one.

Troops have been seen in full MOPPs and several extended briefings have been given to the public recently on national television, the nature of these briefings has been on now to respond to national alarms.
