First, to the International Community:


As you may or may not know, a few months ago (NS) the Don Cossacks declared a Cossack Republic in the Don River region, the port city of Azov, Crimea, and the Northwestern Caucasus up to the Georgian border. In order to enforce these claims, the southern Volga and all of the Caucasus were also occupied by Cossack forces. Several nations have already recognized us and given us both material and financial aid, including:

Free Rumania
West Ukraine
Eye-Ran
Uruk
Canales
Neo-Wu

Despite these nations aid, we know we have little to no chance to withstand the Russian invasion on our own. And we also wish that we do not have to die for it. In the break-up of the Soviet Union, many republics were granted indepandance from Russia, and yet even today Russia would deny us, when all we want is a small river and an unimportant city.
Is this fair or humane? I do not think so. We ask for any aid you may be willing to give us, and diplomatic recognition and pressure on Russian Forces to recognize our minicule claims and right to self-determination.
Like the Americans in 1776, we want indepandance from a huge, imperialist power. Your aid is needed, will you give it?


To the Russian people, who supposedly run the government:

Would you deny us independance? Our claims are small, and yet you would destroy us and our rights as a nation! Without so much as a comment, you have begun mobilization on a massive scale to destroy us. Russia and her kazaks have had a long and stormy history, but now we want out. We will pose no threat to Russia. Here is our claims, terms, and wishes, as small as they are:


1. Complete indepandance from the Russian state
2. Control over the Don River, port city of Azov, northwestern Caucasus, and Crimea (the last is under Ukrainian control and is currently being negotiated peacefully).
3. Friendship and peaceful relations with Russia.
4. We will support the Russian nation in any of its conflicts in return for our right to remain neutral if by popular vote we disdain the conflict.
5. Protection from invasion by Russia should the above happen.
6. The Cossack Republic will cease all hostile action towards Russia and from here on out continue that peace, unless our sovereignty is violated.
7. The Cossack Republic will not allow anyone hostile to Russia, IE terrorists or spies, or enemy forces, to enter its territory.
8. Respect from Russia.
9. The Cossack Republic will return any occupied territories not included in its official claims.
10. The Cossack Republic will not ally with any professed enemies of Russia

Please consider our generous, peaceful terms, from a nation who only wants the same freedom which led to the establishment of your current Communist government in 1917.

OOC: Sorry New Labor, but the person I am fighting is the one in complete control of Russia itself. Russian Forces is a communist government, and is also one of the largest nations in NS. We have absolutely no chance militarily, so we are hoping for support broad enough that we will win a diplomatic victory.

The Republic of Nikvonia officially recognizes the Republic of the Don Cossacks, and wishes to extend an interest free loan of 1,250,000 ounces of gold (in bricks; the equivalent of about 500 million US $), payable in oil after the war.

Nanakaland reconizes Don-Cossacks as an independant nation and is willing to support them.

OOC: Well, all we need now is Russian Forces.

As the festivites of the 1st Annual Indepandance day end in Azov, Prime Minister Sahaydachny transforms into a General once more. All the aid is translated into expanding the Cossack air force, notably the bombing and rotary wings of the RDCAF. Tu bombers are purchased from Rumanian sources along with various multi-purpose helicopters. It also goes to hiring various military instructors as more and more T-90 tanks are brought in, equipped, and trained with the massive financial aid being received, amounting to over 60 billion DCD (Don Cossack dollars). Line upon line of fortifications are placed around the mouth of the Don and Volga rivers, manned with RPGs, AA weapons, and standard AK-47 rifled cavalry units. T-90, T-62, and T-55 tanks are concentrated in vulnerable locations.

We Recognise you as a pile of ruins! You all will be shot in Red Aquare for this! I swear! Also to the supporting allies. You will be dealt with in the future! For now Russian ships in the black sea will sink any vessels supporting the rebels as well as shell the cities they hold.

The Romanian Parliament is debating whether or not to allow flyover rights to the allies of Don-Cossacks. Airbases may also be leased if the bill passes through both houses.

There are a lot of people who agree with you, But again this is an Internal Issue with the Red Bloc army so all we can do is watch and hope.

We executed absolutely no one. It was overwhelmingly popular, and any ethnic Russian or Russian officials were allowed leave with an armed escort out of Cossack territory.
Your silence on our accusations speaks volumes. Your so-called war on terrorism is used only when it is a tiny nation with no threat of counter-attacking. Any large nations using terror tactics will be left alone.

Actually I believe I am choosing to do nothing about it other then placing you nation under a trade embargo... that being the main part of being blacklisted.

We have chosen not to act because unlike your own nation we do not enjoy the idea of going to war with other nations for little reason and I'm not talking about this incidence...
