[New Bomber revealed at Cortina]
http://www.simviation.com/aeroworks/concepts/75a5.jpg
Reporters at the Annual Cortina Airpower Exhibition got a glimpse of the cutting edge in UCSNE technology. The aircraft was referred to as the "Geist", and is rumored to use SCRAMjet and PulseDet engines to propel it to Mach 5. The aircraft will supposedly have a slightly smaller payload than the B-1B, and utilize Athena and other stealth systems. A new LIDAR/LADAR system will also make it's debut on the Geist.

[Upgraded HVM-33 Enters Service]
The HVM-33C "Quick Jab" has entered service with active Naval and Air Force bases, utilizing a series of improvements over the HVM-33B missile. The MM Wave radar has been upgraded, along with a LIDAR/LADAR system, and new GPS and Inertial guidance systems as well. The HVM-33C also utilizes vectored thrust and course-correction jets to improve it's mobility. The cost is about 800,000 per missile.

[UCSNE offers supercavitating weapons systems for Export]
http://www.diodon349.com/Kursk-Memorial/Kursk_images/0501ashley_guns210.jpg
Another advance in UCSNE in supercavitating projectile technology is be an entirely subsurface gun system using Adaptable High-Speed Undersea Munitions (AHSUM). These take the form of supercavitating 20mm "kinetic-kill" bullets that are fired from guns in streamlined turrets fitted to the submerged hulls of submarines, surface ships or towed mine-countermeasure sleds. The LIDAR/LADAR and sonar-directed AHSUM system is the underwater equivalent of the U.S. Navy's Phalanx weapons system, a radar-controlled rapid-fire gun that protects surface vessels from incoming cruise missiles. The UCSNE Military Export Bureau can be contacted for orders.
No word has been recieved on whether the Sea SLAM (Supercavitating LIDAR-Guided Attack Munition.) Supercavitating torpdeo will be relseased for export.

There would not be any chance that you would sell a prototype bomber, or even the technology?

The UCSNE currently has 12 ready-for-service Geist aircraft at undisclosed locations(OOC-Dreamland). There are 3 prototypes, but they will not be for sale, and will be used for testing of hypersonic systems and studies.
However, the technology of the engines, sensors, and stealth systems are availible for sale, send a telegram if interested.

OOC-
Perhaps we can lend you one Geist for a short period of time, Illior, since you're APTO.

How much do these segments of technology cost? I would be willing to buy various ones for use in my own military vehicles.

[UCSNE-SCI form Joint Military Supplier]
http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=127239&highlight=
As part of a series of projects to rekindle friendship between the two nations, get rid of excess supplies, and upgrade Illioran weapons, the two nations formed a Joint Military distribution group, including heavily upgraded American F-23 and F-35 jets.

[HELLADS considered for F-109D]
With it's success on the Illioran F-23I and F-35I aircraft, the NEAF has considered using HELLADS (http://www.darpa.mil/tto/programs/hellads.html) in conjunction or as a replacement for the 20mm HyVeloc gun on the F-109D upgrade to the current F-109C. A 150-250Kw laser may be mounted on the aircraft in replacement of the venerable 20mm Hyveloc, or mounted along the opposite side of the nose. The M202 200kw system was used as a pylon-mounted Laser Pod for rotorcraft and ground attack aircraft, and research is underway to lighten it so it can be mounted in tandem. Should the laser be used, it will give the F-109D the ability to destroy aircraft hundreds of miles out without using missiles. The system will run off of Hydrogen fuel cells, or the power generated by the aircraft's turbines.

The future replacement to the EB-1C Vampire, the EB-9 "Dark Raven" is the third in the series of the Megafotress design concept started with the EB-52. The EB-9 features a 30% increase in payload over the EB-1C, bringing it's payload to up to 27.3 tons (54,600 pounds) of weapons, or even UAVs and UCAVs. At least two HELLADS systems will be seen on the EB-9, as well as the Athena Mk III and other stealth and defense systems. The EB-9 has multiple LIDAR pods to give the pilots 3D situational awareness, as well as a next generation EMS and Radar system. The EB-9 can fly missions completely remotely, but usually has two onboard and 3 operating remotely when communications is not an issue. A top speed is cited at around Mach 3, with varying reports. A series of microhydraulic processors can turn the entire fuselage into a lift surface, giving the EB-9 a much lower runway demand. It is unknown if they will be offered for export.

[New Subfighter Variant Unveiled]
http://www.freewebs.com/new_empire/sucav2.JPG
The S-16C "King Viper" stike variant has been unleashed today, as a response to the growing amount of battleships coming into service with other nations, as both a ship killer and an escort to larger subcraft. The King Viper will utilize a new anti-ship weapon, the 140mm "Viper Fang" Railgun. The Viper Fang will fire 100mm DU slugs in excess of 8 times the speed of sound, using supercavitating munitions. The Viper Fang is mounted inside a streamlined pod so the King Viper can still supercavitate. The King Viper shares 60% of it's parts with the standard Viper, but has differences in the engines and overall outward appearance.

Other measures being taken to protect against new wave of "Superdreadnoughts"
Although the largest of them belongs to an allied nation, the newest waves of large surface vessels has become a startling prospect for UCSNE naval forces. While the current weapons that would be used against these armored monsters are tactical nuclear weapons, and extremely high yield torpedo and missile. Standard battleship guns would be mostly ineffective against their armor, but the submarine fleet needed a weapon that couldn't be shot down or intercepted, but still packed a punch. For subfighters, the new Viper Fang railgun will be enough for the less armored bottoms of most 'super' battleships. But for true vessels of the class, similar to the new Doujin vessel, a larger punch was needed. The long developed Mako Class is now being refitted or built with a 500mm Railgun along the spine of the ship that could be used from long distances, firing the largest supercavitating round yet. The vessel upgrade time is not yet known.

New type of missile in service
When faced with the prospect of dogfighting or CAS, sometimes guns just aren't good enough. And when missiles are used, there sometimes is no easier way to deal with it than to kill it. Bombers and larger aircraft have had the luxury of Compacted laser sytems, and HELLADS will provide a long range punch, but the problem of bringing your aircraft around in time has made using such systems on fighters too hard to be effective. But now, with the M^3 missile system, they have what they want. M^3 (MMM) is said to stand for "Miniaturized Missile Module", but many pilots call it the "Mobile Missile Massacre" because of it's large capacities of SLIDs (Small Low Cost Interceptor Devices.) Each M^3 Carries 24 SLIDS in a 6 tube pod. A magnetic accelerator pushes the stacked missiles out of their pods, and then the rocket engine of the LIDAR, IR and MM Wave Radar guided weapon ignites, giving the capability to engage targets within 6 miles at twice the speed of sound.
