"Hello, this is Channel 17 news with a special report.
Tonight, the Axis Nova Special Forces discovered a terrorist cell hiding out in a cave system in Mount Grost. The government's reaction was swift and decisive, as we can see here..."
A choppy video, obviously filmed by an amateur plays. It shows a Wyvern class air battleship shelling the mountain and closing up the entrances one by one. As the shelling continues, hidden doors open and a convoy of armored vehicles roars out. In response, two Rapiers airdrop from the Wyvern and land in front of the convoy, blocking it's path. The reporter keeps up a running commentary as the video plays.
"As we can see here, the government deployed a Wyvern to shell the mountain and flush the terrorists out into the open... but what happened next suprised even us."
The two Rapiers raise flamers and release a torrent of super high temperature napalm, starting to torch the convoy from end to end. The napalm is even hotter than normal, as is apparent from the melting armor on several APCs and tanks in the convoy.
"Apparently the government decided to deploy the military to deal with this... and it appears they went all out!"
The terrorist convoy attempts to fight back, but they are no match for the Rapiers, and soon the entire convoy is little more than a giant pool of cooling metal and calcified corpses. Their mission accomplished, the Rapiers extinguish their flamers and start boost jumping away offscreen, eventually passing out of view.
"Premier Berrik later released a statement, which we will play now."
The screen changes to show the Premier, standing in front of a large group of reporters on a stage.
"Let this be a warning to any terrorist scum that attempts to take root in our fair nation: We will not hesitate to burn you out like the malignant growths that you are!"
With that, the Premier leaves the stage, ignoring further questions from the press.
"And there you have it, citizens of Axis Nova: The government will play hardball with any terrorists they discover! And now to the weather reports..."
