having not engaged in a proper war before, Tar has decided it's troops need the training that only a mock war can give. There will be 2 teams, each with at least 2 nations on each side. the goal will be to destroy the enemies capitals(or until other nations surrender), this is modern tech experimental, so limited space tech is allowed, such as space transports, but not capital ships.(all of this shall be considered real, except when we're done everything will return to what it was before the wargames) post a description of your nation such as if you have a coast, how big it is, a summary of your armies, navies and airforce, what side you are on(red or blue, or capitalist VS communist) and as much info about your capital as possible.

Phoenixius would like to join in this combat simulation. Our troops have not had much combat experience, though our scientists and engineers have been researching various advanced technology. Our country is based in space, on a large space station. Our forces will deploy be drop ship, and at the moment, only our elite infiltration units are active, and available for service. We are on the side of capitalism, mainly due to the fact we are not communist.

We look forward to this war.

have you got a country on ns earth? you have to have some form of massive fortification or something that can function as a capital for this rp to work, this is modern tech experimental, i would be kind of hard for me to take out a nation based in space

Sorry. We have an Earth bound base of opperations on an island in the North Atlantic. This is an ice covered place (obviously) with various detection and defense networks surrounding the area.

We would like to join in this wargames, but we are unfamiliar with your country. The Revterr alliance lies in the Emerald Heights continent, that's in the North Pacific. Where is your country?

(and ooc: not having participating in any war before I have no Ideea how we should play -except common sense-. And, if more people whant to join and you will have to make a selection, I think is fair to tell you that I'll probably reach internet once, maybe twce a day -so it will be a slow wargame)

I have 10 units of Assassination Groups. These are groups of 5 men outfitted with advanced stealth and infiltration devices.
I also have 2 battaliions of regular troops on standbye, with 400 Mk I Tenoth tanks, 2 light Scimitarius space frigates, 140 Mk II Gencor fighter craft. I only have 2 servicable sea craft, and these are Mk II Haridus Cruisers.

i would like to join in the mock war for some troop training. i will be on the communist side mainly because no one is on it yet so the whole team thing would be screwed up if no one was there. my nation is a medium sized island off the coast of Antarctica. as you can probably guess my navy is quite large but i do take pride in my other branches of my military. the troops that i have participating in this war game will be as follows:

25 Transport Planes with F-18 Hornet Air Support (3 per transport)

Roycelandia would be VERY interested in joining this RP on the Non-Communist side.

For simplicity, our HQ for this wargame would be Roycelandian East Africa (comprised of Kenya, Uganda, and The Sudan), since Roycelandia itself occupies no RL country (geographically, it would probably be somewhere near Jamiaca, if it did exist).

REA's capital city is Port Imperial, located near where Entebbe is in RL. Other cities of note include: Nairobi, Mombasa, Enfield Harbour, Khartoum, Fort Adams, and Victoria Falls.

Since this is an Electronic Simulation, we can commit the following "Forces":

30,000 Colonial Guard Troops (armed with Mk III or No. 5 Jungle Carbine Lee-Enfield .303 Bolt Action Rifles, Lewis and Bren .303 MGs, Thompson M1928A1 SMGs, and Tiger .357/12gauge revolvers)

5,000 Imperial Foreign Legionnaires (armed with IA-FAL .303 semi-auto rifles, Self-Loading Lee-Enfields, Bren LMGs, and Colt M1991A1 .45 auto pistols)

20,000 Native Auxilliaries (Armed with whatever was in the storeroom at the time- mainly Martini Henry single-shot .303 rifles, SMLEs, a few Lewis
Guns, AK-47s, and whatever else they could scrounge)

100 IAe Spitfires (They look like WWII Spitfires, but they're modern in every way)

20 IAe Harrier Jump Jets (lots of missiles, bombs, rockets, cannon etc. And VTOL. Can't forget the VTOL thing.)

12 AC-47 "Puff The Magic Dragon" gunships (Armed with 2x 20mm Vulcan Cannons)

12 IAe Sunderland Flying Boats (armed with 12x.303MGs, 8x 20mm cannon, lots of bombs and rockets, as well as depth charges)

12 CAF Lancaster Bombers (as with the Sunderlands, but can carry a 10,000lb Bomb Payload)

50 IAe-1J Iroquois Transport Helicopters (transports mainly, but with some MGs if needed)

200 Meerkat Medium Tanks (57mm main gun, 3x .303MGs, rocket pods available)

2x Battleships- Red Dwarf and Overlord

20 Hawk MTBs

4 "Orca" class Submarines

If these forces are too much, we can reduce them to a sporting level...

The primary aspect of this weopon system is a 400lb Depleted Uranium Shell. The shell has a Scram-Jet Jacket built into it so, once fired from the 20" Cannon, The Scram-Jet activates allowing it to do one of two options.

#1: Using a 'Solid' Uranium Shell, The Scram-Jet Fires early, adding its speed to the speed from cannon shot, turning it into a fearsom Kinetic Energy Weapon that can easily tear into other ships.

#2 Using a 'Warhead' Half Uranium Shell, The Scram-Jet waits until the intial arch from the Cannon shot begins to derad, then fires. This will almost Double the effective range of the shot, giving the oppurtunity to Bombard targets well out of range of any conventional counter attack.

sorry about the 5 posts of the same thing for some reason the forum doesn't work for crap on my computer. in light of the fact that the states on the capitalist side have such large ammounts of troops i will ups my ammount of ground troops participating my total will now be 200,000 and my air transports will be increased by 40 each. since their was no limit set on troops and the fact that TAR has not participated in a 'war' before i believed that there would only be a small ammount of troops used by each country i was however mistaken. so if it will be allowed my troops will increase as indicated.

The battleships, carriers and subs are moving to take out the Beta Aurigae VII's fleet, the Mig-29's have been diverted to attack the gunships's attacking the transports, the aircraft of the carriers and the f-35's still in the air are moving to attack Beta's fleet.

the F-35's move in first, diving to attack the battleships, aiming for the guns, they loose their bombs and then fly off, the Migs' move in dive and attack various parts of the second battleship, but are intercepted by enemy aircraft on returning to base and some are shot down.

the hammerheads move to engage the enemy battleships and let loose their torpedoes (this needs to be played my both of us because i can't just say they all hit their targets and the ships get sunk that is pointless so some sort of countermeasure needs to be launched before i give how many i hit home.) 3 squadrons of F-14's move to attack the 'Broken Arrow' and fire their ASM's (Air to Surface Missles) (again countermeasures are needed so i will post hits when i am informed) the reapers attack the transports in waves while a relief force of 25 F-14's move to help out. the battleships bombard all of the enemy ships.

one 18" gun on the Broken arrow has been destroyed, various light damage elswhere on the ship. support ships moving in to help repair as much as possible while at sea. one hammerhead torpedo hits one of the battleships, damaging it so much that it has to return to base. the Seawolf submarines move to attack the enemy Hammerhead submarines. The mig-29's having been refueled, take off again to attack the enemy battleships. the two remaining battleships target the enemy battleships and fire. the 'Broken arrow' targets the most damaged enemy battleship and fires with it's Screecher 20" turrets.

the most heavily damaged battleship is hit and returns to another dock to be repaired estimated time 2 weeks. the F-14's refueled as well half of the main groups move to defend the battleships the other half commence attack on the 'Broken Arrow' and its surrounding ships. the Hammerheads move in to engage enemyy subs. as the battle moves closer to the main port on shore defenses begin preparation to drive back the enemy. the remaining two battleships continue to fire upon the enemy while my flagship the 'Corsair' takes the place of the lost battleship. (occ. what happened to your transport ships TAR so i know if i can draw my other sub back to the battle along with my remaining helicopters and F-14's)

1 carrier and 2 battleships launched long range missile toward the most important TAR seaport. Around them, destroyers and eckranoplanes moved in standard defensive matrix. Beneath, 3 submarines moved into position. Above, planes scrambled.

Your attack on Beta Aurigan VII forced us to act accordingly to our alliance treaty. Thus we are hereby declaring war on you. Our battlegroup is entering you territorial waters as we speak, and they have received orders to attack you most important seaport. You are required to stand down from your attack on Beta Auriga and to accept peace negotiations. Our forces will cease their attack as soon as you accept our requests.

Launch the Jetters!
Special traps opened onboard all the ships, launching specially designed missiles. Looking like grapes, humans with jetpacks and weapons lifted with the missiles high into atmosfere. From them they will dive toward ships, ground target or even planes (if Mig air cover will prouve inefective). All the jetters carried one portable missile launcher with 2 missile and (more important) a machine gun with armor piercing bullets. At the right angle, at the right speed, a Jetter could wreak havoc with that machine gun onto a battlecruiser bridge or deck, not to mention simple airplanes.

What is a defensive alliance if no one will jump in your defence? Lets hope they will kept silence, but they will act! What about TAR defences?

i have launched 70 Pegasus Heli-transports and 65 transport planes with thier F-18 escorts in an attack on TAR. they will land make a parachute landing in the ocean just outside TAR's main port and then make an amphibious beach landing to attempt an attack on the capital. they left Beta Aurigae's island about 10 hrs ago underneath the radar of the enemy ships to prevent detection. the troops total 4,350 they are armed with grenades, MP5's, combat knives, and AK-47's.
