Chaffee Declares Independence
A rather old man steps up to the cement porch in front of the Bronco Bar on main street of Chaffee... He glances around and adjusts his large bifocals and his suspenders... He looks behind him. He gently walks back into the bar that he owns and retrieves an AR-15 under the bar-top... He summons his son, Richie, and his son's friend, Travis. They quickly appear from a back-room, each armed with an AK-47. He nods and picks up a two-way radio and sends a call signal into it, a quiet affirmative chokes through the radio. Rick Schroeder then steps back out to the porch, the AR-15 behind him and the two 18 year old kids flanking him... They casually walk down the street towards the The Commonwealth of Chaffee and Casselton's military garrision, staffed by 30 CCC soldiers... As he approaches he gives a signal to Richie and Travis, they slightly fan out, the soldiers haven't noticed them yet... Rick drops behind a parked car and brings up the AR-15, as do Richie and Travis. Three clicks are heard as the safeties are let off at the same instant. An instant after and pops of gunfire erupt, six CCC soldiers fall at the same time, the others scramble for cover.
Suddenly, a loud bang shatters the air and another CCC soldier drops dead, shot by a lone sniper atop the Chaffee-Lynchburg Farmers Elevator across the street, three more shots erupt and three more CCC soldiers fall.
Just after that, a screeching is heard and a large diesel pickup is seen emerging from the haze along County Road 16, its a flatbed... With a PK machine gun mounted on top, muzzle flashes can be seen and the reports are heard as the CCC's vehicles, some older pickups and jeeps, erupt in flame, leaving them stranded. The pickup pulls up along the CCC garrison and six men dismount, two armed with older hunting rifles, one with a shotgun, and three with AK-47s... They all open fire, wiping out 12 CCC soldiers.
From around the corner come another older man, followed by two younger men, they all carry a rifle, the set up and open fire, taking out two more CCC soldiers... However, a group of CCC soldiers return fire and kill off the older man, Kent Jensen, and wound another, Robert Jensen.
A white flag is seen emerging from the small shack that serves as the CCC garrison and 6 CCC soldiers emerge, arms raised... Suddenly, without remorse, the man behind the PK opens fire, cutting all six down...
Rick Schroeder heads up to the garrison and stands atop a crate, he declares to all of Chaffee:
Today, we have fought back against the tyranny of the Commonwealth of Chaffee and Casselton, to avenge those lost to their evil will. We have fought back... And we have won!
Before me lie the mighty CCC soldiers... Crushed, killed, and defeated by a townsfolk that has waited for this moment... This moment that we rebel against our tyrannical leaders, that we rebel agains this tyrannical government, and we rebel against the ideals they uphold...
He picks up a radio that goes directly to the CCC headquarters in Casselton...and speaks into it loudly, and proudly,
We, the people, of Chaffee, declare ourselves, by rule of international law, a sovereign and defiant nation, now and forever known as the Community of Chaffee... So kiss my ass Casselton...
He throws the radio down and crushes it with the butt of his AR-15.
We must now prepare for the inevitable counter-attack!
Men quickly scramble and retrieve the fallen soldiers' weapons and set up defensive stations around the small city of Chaffee, every one of its inhabitants will fight, and die, for this small nation.
-Got permission from CCC to do this, he will post shortly.-
The Kasslin (CCC Capital Building), Casselton, North Dakota
The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth, Dean Kelm, is seated at his desk, smoking a long, thick Cuban cigar, imported by Dean Larmier (teacher in Thompson), when his aide "Squeaky-Clean" bursts through his office door and hands him an telegram from the CCC Headquarters downstairs...
"What is this...?" He takes the sheet of paper and looks at it once, then back up to his aide, waiting for a reply
"Sir...it's a notice that the town of Chaffee has declared their independance from the Commonwealth...there's a list of casualties at the bottom...there" The aide points to the list near the bottom and Minister Kelm looks down to read it...
The cigar drops from Kelm's teeth and lands with a *thud* on his desk, starting a few papers on fire...
"My God...they killed Kent? Those bastards...Brian, we must retaliate. Mobilize the SpetsNaz and conscript a few of the local senior high-school students, ASAP. This slap in the face of the Commonwealth cannot be ignored..."
"Squeaky-Clean" stomps out the fire on Kelm's desk with his shoe and leaves the room with a breif "Seig Kelm!" and goes off to send the order to his Cheif of Military Operations, Curt Leslie, while Minister Kelm issues a radio broadcast to the citizens of Casselton, via 104.7 "The Dam"
*breif crackling, then the voice of Dean Kelm on the radio...* "Citizens of the Commonwealth. Today is a day that will live in infamy. The rebellious citizens of Chaffee, led by Rick Schroeder, have killed several of our loyal military forces and ceded from our glorious nation! Kent Jensen, a man we all knew and loved, was gunned down in the onslaught. Ladies and gentlemen, this can not be tolerated! Take up arms, and meet at the Casselton High School for breif military procedure and arming. We will put down this terrorist attack and bring Chaffee back under our control at once! For the Commonwealth!" *voice fades out...*
Casselton School, 1 hour later...
50-75 residents of Casselton can be seen from the street, many lugging AK-47's and shotguns, while a few men weld PKM machine-gun's to the beds of various trucks owned by locals. Women and children can be seen wiring explosives to their bodies, should the need arise to sacrifice their souls for the Commonwealth. "Squeaky-Clean" is in Kelm's office playing Morrowind...Err...Dean Kelm is standing among the crowd of Cass County Militants holding his coveted SSG-97 ROMAK-III sniper rifle, offering support and motivation for those about to venture off to Chaffee...Soon, they load up into trucks, vans, and cars, and they storm out of Casselton...An old farm tractor leading the way with a bin of an unknown substance, several sprayers mounted on the front...The Commonwealth is about to deliver a crushing blow to the Chaffee rebellion...
One half-hour later, the motorcade stops in a field North-West of Chaffee, the lone tractor rumbling into town, soon discovering that the former outpost of the CCC has been overrun...As the tractor thumps near the guard post, Randy Anderson meanders over to the tractor, the driver concealed. When Randy taps on the glass door for the driver to be identified, John Jackson opens the door of the tractor and whips up his 30-30 lever action, blowing a quarter sized hole in Anderson's skull, his body landing backwards with a sick "thwap" against the gravel, as alarms are sounded inside Chaffee. John then closes the steel-enforced frame of the tractor and switches on the sprayers mounted on the death-machine, spraying anhydrous ammonia across a 50-foot radius...several people falling to disease as they run out unbeknown to the death clouds that await them...
John soon sends a radio signal that the "package has been delivered", and the motorcade storms into town, cars zooming in from both directions while vans park outside and prepare the women and children for a costly victory and trucks plow right through town. Soon, the outpost is surrounded, after a breif struggle with those who were alerted by the alarms, 12 Commonwealth members falling due to PK and sniper fire...
OOC: I'll let Chaffee make the next move...
Chellis is willing to give assistance to the rebels of chaffee. Will send the First Speed Division if wanted.
A small girl, Courtney Jensen, rushes into the bar amidst the usual clamor inside the dark Bronco Bar...
"THE COMMONWEALTH IS COMING, THE COMMONWEALTH IS COMING!"
All noise stops and glasses can be heard shattering as the 20 men inside grab their assorted rifles and head out into Main Street... Rick Schroeder also comes out, cradling his AR-15... On the edge of town they can see the Commonwealth vehicles... Rick shouts to Lydon Sprunk:
"Tell Sparky to get the battle-tractor ready! RIGHT THE FUCK NOW!"
Travis nods and jogs over to a small, short man... They have a quick convo and the short man runs off to the large steel shed at the corner of town...
Meanwhile, on the east edge of town, where the CCC is coming from, a small group of Chaffee citizens lead a defiant strike agains the evil attackers. At least four thumps are heard as RPGs roar at the combine, impacting and penetrating its sides to effectively shut it down... In the street lie 7 dead Chaffee citizens, one from gunfire, the rest from having the moisture sucked from their lungs via annyhdrous ammonia.
The distinctive roar of an airplane is heard as Football's (Laurence Barfuss) yellow spray plane comes over the city... It drops down to about 25 feet and lets loose its spray points, covering the forward portions of the CCC forces in gasoline... The plane circles around again and opens fire with a single mounted machine gun, plastering rounds blindly into the group.
Meanwhile, Rick and the men at the bar scramble to their vehicles, each with a PKM or RPG mounted in the back... The vehicles swarm to the scene and open fire... Firing off rounds like crazy into the CCC forces...
High above, atop the Chaffee-Lynchburg Farmers elevator, Lydon Sprunk with his MCRT .300 tactical sniper rifle, quietly takes aim on Spetsnaz soldiers and those with sniper rifles, his fire is quiet, accurate, and deadly...
Across town, Sparky opens the door to the shed and thick black smoke pours out... He runs in and the thumping of a heavy diesel engine is heard and a large red machine appears, armor plating covering the sides... Its a Case International Steiger STX-500 Quadtrac... It rumbles down the street with its 540 horsepower diesel engine... On it, three PKMs, a potato launcher modified to fire grenades/mines, and an RPG-7V launcher, all manned by Chaffee citizens... It rumbles towards the CCC forces with PKMs ablaze and rockets sliding through the air...
It looks as though the CCC might get pushed back...
As Commonwealth soldiers drop like flies to the haze of bullets and RPG's from the attackers, a radio signal from the rear of the CCC front is sent, "Hail Mary!", and soon, the shreiking and screaming of children and a few elderly women can be heard as about 13 people (7 kids and 6 adult women) spread apart and drift towards the rebels. The children are proven to be the most deadly...they wrap their arms around the victim's leg and detonate the homemade satchel charges, killing anyone within a small radius...the women going after more potent targets such as trucks, but usually getting gunned down in the process...
The main Commonwealth attack force disembarks from their vehicles, as various assault rifles and shotguns can be heard loading as they open fire for nearly the first time against a major rebel attack...several of them dropping in the first volley, though machine-gunners are constantly being replaced on the Commonwealth side due to sniper fire, which is momentarily halted due to a near-miss by an RPG-7. As the Commonwealth soldiers gun down rebel after rebel, and take their own casualties, things start to look somewhat better, until the STX-450 appears and mows down nearly a quarter of their forces in the initial blaze of fire...
Things are not looking good for the Commonwealth...
That is, until, a savior comes in the form of Barbara Bickel...screeching down the street in a maroon Dodge Caravan...She flies up behind the STX-450 and jumps out, running up behind it and latching onto the main gas tank, shreiking a "HAIL KELM!" before detonating her own satchel charge and igniting the rear half of the STX into a massive napalm-like fireball, seeming to bring the Chaffee advance to a halt. As this is done, the Commonwealth soldiers give a shout of victory and jump up from their cover and run towards the sound of the explosion, gunning down a few stray rebels at the same time, not having a distant clue what may lie ahead of them...Dean Kelm waiting behind, keeping an ever-watchful eye with his SSG-97...
OOC: Your call, Chaffee...
Schroeder frowns from his position... He just saw the explosion from the STX-500... Not good he thinks... He thinks a moment and comes up with an idea... He picks up a radio and gives a call to a certain friend...
As the rear of the tractor explodes, Sparky is vaporized instantly... The other Chaffee citizens on board, now known as Chaffee Armed Rebels (CARs) jump off, taking their weapons with them... Travis Dehne does a roll across the ground before bringing up the RPG-7V launcher and firing a rocket right into a group of CCC soldiers. Just afterwards he falls back with a half-dozen holes in his chest.
Christy Schroeder makes a heroic stand on top of the burning STX-500, she swings the PKM back and forth on full auto, completely devastating the front lines of the CCC advance... Until she runs out of ammo... She pulls out a pistol that was shoved in her pants and manages to get off one shot before getting three rounds to the face.
Near the railraod tracks behind the CCC forces comes a beat up 88' oldsmobile... It stops and is unnoticed by the CCC forces... The door opens and Judge, the boozing Ervie Loebrick, emerges, he's holding an M-16 from VietNam and semi-auto .22 LR... He slowly advances behind them, a cigarette in his mouth, with guns ablaze... Brass shells falling to his feet as the M-16 fires on full auto and the .22 is firing as fast as he can pull the trigger. In his drunken stupor he doesn't notice the three rounds that went through his stomach... He continues to advance, blood pouring from the wound... He continues on, weapons ablaze until he runs out of ammo, then he charges, bringing the stock of his M-16 across the face of a CCC soldier. Sixteen shots from a nearby PKM ends his rampage and he falls to the pavement.
From points around Chaffee, men begin emerging, with assorted weapons, they make a defiant stand against the CCC... All weapons ablaze and the streets covered with shells, its one helluva fire fight and the CARs are taking a helluva toll. Eight men have fallen so far in this stand and another three are wounded.
Just in the midst of the massive fight, the friend that Schroeder called, arrives in his Farmers Union Oil Company truck with its 300 gallon tank filled with gasoline... He comes roaring down Cass County 5 with the accelerator bolted to the floor, the CCC forces have little time to react before the International truck hits the rail road tracks, some 40 feet from them... At that moment, Lonnie Scharbow, the driver, flings open the door and rolls out into the ditch... The truck continues on and rolls over a few people before it impacts a larger CCC vehicle, erupting into a massive ball of flame and sending shrapnel flying... Some pieces even manage to injure CARs inside Chaffee...
At the sight of this, the CAR forces give off a rebel yell and charge the befuddled CCC forces, they charge forward with their rifles at their hips, with all weapons ablaze, mowing down the CCC lines... Of course, the CARs suffer casualties as well and four more men fall dead in their tracks, another three fall wounded.
High-atop the Chaffee-Lynchburg elevator, Lydon takes aim with his MCRT, he fires off a shot and encaves some CCC soldier's skull, he fires off three more shots before grabbing an RPG-7v lying nearby, he fires one rocket into the rear portions of the CCC lines.
Teddy Jensen, an older man in his 70s charges forward with his Remington hunting rifle, with a makeshift bayonet on the end... Without hesitation, he voluntarily leads the charge... He quickly shoots down one CCC soldier and rams his bayonet into the other... But at that vulnerable moment is where he met his doom, a nearby CCC soldier fired off six rounds into Ted's stomach and chest, blowing him back and knocking the life out of him...
The rest of the CARs vow to continue the charge, and they do just that, pouring right into the CCC lines with guns ablaze continually yelling a rebel yell.

presidant Ashley Smith was shocked at the CCC. She read the full report and cringed. this could not be happerning. Damnit you Terrorists.
"General!" she shoutes

"put the army on standby and deploy 7 Tu-16 Badger Bombers to bomb CCCs central command.
"Yes Madame"
"Stop calling me madame, just call me Ashley."
"All right"

7 Bombers roar in over CCCs comand center.
"1..2..3..LAUNCH ALL HELL!
The bombers reless napalm on the Command Center.
The Community of Chaffee truelly appreciates these acts of kindness although we ask that foreign entities stay out of this conflict for we must be the ones to earn our independence.
Although, if we start losing, than we'll gladly accept assistance...
Chaffee Foreign Minister Alvin Loebrick
As the rebels charge the CCC positions, they frantically load back into their pick-ups and retreat, firing the PKM's and various rifles into the crowd of rebels, knocking several more down as they drive off, one truck swerving off the road and crashing, killing all 3 inhabitants from an RPG blowing out the rear axle. The wounded soldiers lay in the backs of the pickups as the crews continue firing into the distance as they leave Chaffee...at a loss...
Two days after the events...
Dean Kelm issues another radio broadcast, this time on Y-94 because 104.7 was in the middle of the Top 100...
"Citizens of the Commonwealth...We have lost the battle with Chaffee. We have also lost several valuable lives who died fighting for what they believed in. An honorable mention is Barbara Bickel, who sacrificed herself to destroy a rebel tractor. She will be in our prayers, along with the many others who gave themselves that dreadful day...With that matter aside, I'd reluctantly like to announce the official recognition of the Community of Chaffee. Diplomatic ties will hopefully be established, and a peace will soon come. Also, we are no longer the Commonwealth of Chaffee and Casselton. We are now to be known as the People's Republic of Casselton. This concludes my address to the nation. Thank you, and pray for your lost loved ones..."
Dean Kelm then turns off his radio unit and goes off to play poker with "Squeaky-Clean"...
OOC: Looking to open diplomatic ties, Chaffee?

OOC: I was typing that post when you did your napalm...And we should have stated before this was kind of a private/staged RP...but whatever.
The CARs raise their weapons in the air and shout, many shout obscenities at the retreating men. Another woman drops her weapon and begins waving the Community of Chaffee's flag... A few younger CARs fire off shots at the retreating soldiers.
A few minutes of exuberation fills the air before the realization of the cost of their freedom sets in... Wreckage line the streets, the burning STX-500 completely blocks the street, and 28 of the town's 66 inhabitants lie dead in the streets... They quickly get to work, collecting bodies and burying them in the new Independence Cemetary, set up on the south side of town... Many families retreat to their homes, in tears, they've lost a husband, a son, a wife, a daughter, a grandfather... or grandmother... Many families can't return to their homes because they were killed in the fierce battle.
Over the next few days, wreckage is cleared and the town returns to a state of excitement at their new-found freedom, although a few families remain solemn. The town auditor/secretary marks the date of the battle as Chaffee's Independence Day.
The Bronco Bar, a week after the revolution, hosts a massive party to honor those that were killed (because most of them would've wanted the town to remember them by getting drunk) and to celebrate their independence.
One of the first actions of the Community of Chaffee is to send a telegram to the People's Republic of Casselton to reinstate diplomatic ties and Schroeder also sends out word to the world that Chaffee is ready for diplomatic ties with any and all nations.
Chaffee, Castalton;
Presidant Ashley Smith invites your leaders to a Dinner at the Goverment Castle.
The Community of Chaffee accepts this offer but will be sending Rick Schroeder's son, and future leader of Chaffee, Richie Schroeder.

Rick Schroeder sat behind his desk in the back room of the Bronco Bar, the current capitol of Chaffee, reading assorted reports from farmers on the borderlands... As he was reading his jaw dropped... He immediately picked up his phone and called the Director of Intelligence Bev Kellerman, "Is this report correct?!".
"That it is, sir" she replied.
"My God, they've got Bernie... How the hell could this happen? And they're using him for SLAVE LABOR?! Creating weapons and building for them... This CANNOT be true..." he slightly growled into the receiver.
"Well, sir, it is true. We believe they brainwashed him. But, I have an idea. You know Rusty Jackson? Well, he's been known to build quite a few things that can easily out do anything that Bernie puts out..." she spoke into the receiver.
"Of course... Perfect, call him up, its about time he serves his country."
Rick grinned to himself as he contemplated the fear that Casselton would feel as they realize that Chaffee has the better engineer... He then glanced to another report... A procurement report, 'Of course!' he thought, glancing over the sheet, remembering the purchase of two BF-9 fighters from Nova Belarus... In fact, he thought, they should be here today. Just then, he heard the thunderous roar of a fighter-jet, he glanced out the window and saw two lone fighters streaking through the sky. He grinned and watched as they landed at the small paved strip outside Chaffee. He then returned to looking over the report... They also fixed up a 1965 International school-bus, turning it into a heavy armored transport able to seat 36 soldiers... It has two roof-mounted firing ports, and eight reinforced window ports.
Later that day, Rusty Jackson shows up and is tasked with fixing up the charred hulk of that STX-500, and turning it into something more than what it used to be, turn it into an actual tank... To be known as the CDT-01.
Rick Schroeder frowns some as he learns the jets have little fuel left and need refueling... Fuel that Chaffee does not have... Chaffee has diesel, gasoline, ethanol, and kerosene... But not jetfuel... Damn, he thinks. Then he gives the order to drag them into a storage hangar... Thinking to himself once more, We'll have to rely on the sprayer for now...
Meanwhile, across town, at the playground, Special Forces Farmers are training for possible action. The SFF Supervisor, Clayton Dahl watches from behind a pile of gravel as 30 year old men climb up brightly painted ladders and slide down the plastic slides... He shakes his head somewhat... But these were the best trained soldiers that Chaffee had to offer... All... Six of them. These were the best of Chaffee's standing army and they were training for a possible deployment. The SFF members come from local farms, among the members are: Dale Sprunk, Jon Baumler, Jim Jensen, and Robert Jensen, all participants of the Chaffee Revolution. Two other farmers round off this outstanding team, they are: Randy Sprunk and Roger Poulson.
The SFF is a highly-trained team that has operated in the deep shelter belts that surround Chaffee and they have done operations along the Maple River, hunting varmints and deer, very proficiently. They are also very good marksmen with extensive training with all Remington and Winchester hunting rifles. But, most of the time, they are armed with Winchester .30-.30 rifles or the occasional AR-15 or AKM. Sidearms are personal choices and many haul around Smith and Wessons. The SFF were also trained heavily in the use of farm-grade explosives such as the famed M-88 varmint killer as well as farm-grade TNT and fertilizer bombs. The SFF also have training in making oxygen-acetylene bombs using available resources.
The following day the SFF are sent on their first mission, to take out a suspected terrorist hide-out along the Maple River. Each member of the team snatches a .30-.30 and hop in the back of an '88 Silverado diesel and rumble down the county road towards the river, about four miles out of town. When they get to a set point they quickly ram the pickup into the ditch, making it seem as though an accident and they clamor out of the pickup and into the soft soil of the recently tilled field and begin hoofing it towards the Maple River valley. They quickly search a shelter belt and find nothing, they move farther towards the river, as they approach the bridge they halt... Rob Jensen signals for Poulson and Dale Sprunk to cross the river and move along each side... Poulson nods and taps Dale on the shoulder, they quickly slide down the embankment to the river shore... They cross the raging torrents of the Maple River, all 15 feet across and 3 inches deep... Once on the other side they give a signal and the entire SFF begins moving down the river...
About a quarter mile down they stop... Randy Sprunk kneels to the ground and moves his finger across a track... He then sticks his finger into a small mound and smells it... He nods to himself and silently speaks to Jensen. Jensen quickly flashes a move forward signal along with a weapons-at-the-ready signal. At the end of that signal, each blued barrel of the .30-.30s slides up and each SFF member sticks the stock to their shoulders and hold it there as they begin moving forward... They come up to a clearing on the North side and halt... Dale and Poulson move up on the south side to large tree trunk and hunker down behind it while the other four members fan out and take cover... In the clearing they see nothing but tall quackgrass and barnyard grass. In a small 'thunderstorm', every safety is unclicked, and they do this loudly as if to scare something up.
It works and about a dozen deer leap into the air from their bedding positions, they begin scattering but the blaze of gunfire knocks down six in the initial volley. In unison, the entire force pulls down the lever and slides it back up, loading a new shell, a second volley knocks the rest down. They quickly load a new shell in and push into the clearing... None of the deer are alive... They successfully wiped out the terrorist deer cell that has been plaguing farmers and drivers in the area... All without a single casualty... They drag a large doe, a fawn, and two nice bucks back to the pickup and throw them in back for butchering later and turning into deer sticks and jerky. They all climb in and put the beasty Chevy into four-wheel and squeel on up the embankment onto the road and back to Chaffee for a nice cold one to celebrate the effectiveness and lethality of the SFF...

Meanwhile, near Chaffee, the People's Liberation Army has been tasked to a special assignment. 10 members of the militia dress themselves heavily in upland camoflage and load themselves aboard two old flatbed pickups, five per truck, with salvaged Flak 88's mounted in the back of each truck. One man will fire the cannon, one will load it, two will stand in back with shotguns, and the other will drive. The group has been outfitted perfectly for this operation...The time of day is 8:30, the sun is just starting to set, it will be night soon...
As the rest of the preparations are made, the trucks split up and head off towards a field road that is rarely traveled by anybody...As they approach, one on each end of the road, the AA-cannons are loaded and prepared to fire, and the two man teams in the backs load their shotguns, and duck down, the trucks creep along slowly, barely idleing along...Soon, the driver of the truck on the west end of the road, stops, and sticks his arm out the window, motioning to the ditch about 25 yards ahead of them to their left...The team in back click off their safeties, and the Flak 88 in back swivels and aims in that direction. While this happens, the truck opposite of them parks in the opposite ditch and the two man team get out, hunkering down in the ditch opposite of where the activity was seen, starting to move ahead very slowly...
As the teams flash the ready signal, the Flak 88 cannon fires into the ditch, screeching and fluttering can be heard as 12 pheasants suddenly burst out of the thick brush in the ditch, while 7 lie dead, blown to small bits. Just as this happens, the two man team in the first truck stand up and fire off 6 rounds, three apiece. Half the pheasants tumble from the sky and they birds turn around and fly towards the second team, landing just ahead of them. The team hears them crash into the brush, and they charge forward, forcing the birds to once again take flight, only to be pumped full of lead by the 3 1/2" 12 gauge shells, all of them fall in a flurry of feathers and small bird bodies.
Afterwards, the men pick up the bodies, usable ones, at least, and take them back to the PRC.
Pheasant for supper tonight...Mission accomplished...
