OOC: Keeping track of the RL nation claims?

With all the threads on RL claims jumping around I feel that there needs to be some verification on how all this is going to come together.

I know that there's only so many RL countries on Earth and that there's several multiverses which contain nations who claim identical territories. But what I don't get is how you're all going to put this together when it comes time to RP or fight a war.

Are you going to go, "Well I'm so and so nation from a different multiverse, but I simply happened to break into your parallel universe in order to do battle with you?" Come on, how confusing is that going to be? Or are nations in one multiverse simply going to be restricted to dealing with nations located in their own multiverse?

I'm not trying to discourage newer nations from trying to claim their own pieces of the NS pie nor discredit the claims of the nations that are as old as I am are older....but there needs to be some clarification here before everyone gets completely confused.

A worthy point South Dalania

I've been around for about a week and already I've see a lot of problems caused by these issues, with a lot of people getting really stressed. I just thank my lucky stars I'm not particularly interested in getting involved in the RL-fest.

I support your views on the need for clarification, and i would like to say that there is sense in some quarters. Matich's response to a query on the claiming of whole countries was in my view, a nod toward the sort of rationality needed.

So, to clarify things, I'm not criticising anyone who wants to get involved, and I'm certainly not about to lump together the few people going too far with the majority who just want to do their thing. But my advice to anyone thinking of getting involved would be- don't.
