In breaking news, the African Republic has forcibally removed citizenship from the Hali people. The Hali people is a small race with approximatly 3 million members, all of which live in tribal villages in the Afican Republic.

The government has blamed the Hali people for the recent food shortages, and says they will pay for their crimes against Allah, the god of the leader of the AR, Neros. Neros has been hailed has the most powerful leader of the AR since independance...

The Federation of Magas Volaer wishes to know how they were the cause of the food shortages in the African Republic.

We'd also like to know why the Hali people are being treated as such when they make up 3/5 of your nation's population...

Neros refuses to answer such questions. External media sources however speculate that the food shortages were used as a way to justify Neros's hate against the Hali People.

As non-citizens of any nation, it seems that under law the Hali people have the same rights as a plant, and fears are rising what Neros plans to do with them.

We'd also like to know why the Hali people are being treated as such when they make up 3/5 of your nation's population...

My Special Forces are setting up roadblocks,making hit and run ops,and targeting government officials. The 20,000 Marines aboard AASs have landed and are moving towards the capital. Resistance has been encountered but they cant stand up to battle hardened troops supported by planes,artillery,and guns from ships. The 3rd MEF is landing as we speak.

Planes from the Carriers and FAMBs taget any enemy naval forces encountered. A PT boat comes up and 4 F18s make gun runs and then 4 FAMBs come up and start shooting.

The government has entacted conscruiption, bringing the total army numbers to 800 000 people (including support)

50 000 Troops have been sent southward to fight Matich troops in the south. Other forces are being pulled back into the capital...

Since AR has refused the generous offer of just giving up thier leader to face a trail our forces begin thier attack. The subs prowl the water on searc and destroy missions. The aircraft take off to attack the city of Lagos. The transports guarded by the destoryers head towards Lagos to unload the bradleys.At the same time the cruisers begin firing thier missiles towards the capitol of Abuja.

In the meantime, the military has begun to launch a series of missile attacks on the incoming enemy troops, launching 4 SCUD missiles on enemy infantry...

Our forces continue to advance at a slightly lower pace. The conscripts run at the sight of our battle hardened troops but there are so many it takes a long time to capture them all. Our Special Forces are fighting in the capital with pro government forces.

In the meantime, the military has begun to launch a series of missile attacks on the incoming enemy troops, launching 4 SCUD missiles on enemy infantry...

IC: Our 200 Missiles were launched directing attacks on your capitol and coastal areas. Cruisers, Destroyers, and Submarines are preparing to engage you in a naval battle, the Battleships and other ships will stay behind to protect the Carriers. In the capital, sirens were being sounded. People ran from everywhere. Defense systems we activated, and inteceptors were launched. Unfortunatly, 142 Missiles hit the capital, killing 489 civillians.

Submarines began to target larger ships such as the Battleships..

On radar, it was easy to spot the incoming bombers, and 80 fighters were launched to intercept them.

Fighters were launched to defend Lagos...

"Captain, we've got them on radar," says one of the crew monitoring the radars next to the Captain, "You wish to give them a warning shot?"

"No. They deserve no warning. Not for defending a government that has committed genocide. Destroy them." replies the Captain (Cpt. John Smith).

At that, orders were send to fire the cannons. The Captain sent a message to Sea Conquest II, the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier that was .6 nodical (sp?) miles of the stern of the Voyance I.

Just after the message was sent, the Voyance I (named after a great Admiral 100 years again in ViZion history) began firing it's cannons.

Onboard the Sea Conquest II, all screw were scrambling to their position as the planes (Sea Ninja's, F-16's, and F-14's) prepared to take off.

On the frontline, troops began to slow the oncoming Matich forces. 43 had been killed so far in the battles. Throughout the projected battlefield, landmines were being laid, and hidden in the desert scrub...

Two Virginia Class SSN’s, the Prowler IV and the Axiom, begin their silent prowl through African Republic's waters.

Within moments, they spotted a hostile submarine patrolling the waters.

"Send them a message. Tell them they've got two silent nuclear subs keeping an eye on them, and to surrender, or face anihalation." Orders the Admiral (Adm. Jake Maximus) to Captain Romonius Axius, aboard the Prowler IV.

The message was sent.

IC: The F-16s saw the fighters coming and armed and fired thier air to air missiles. The destoyers laid mines to protect the Battleships and cruisers, while the subs stumbled upon emenmy submarines. The subs fired 2 torpedos each and retreated. The transports landed on the beach and the bradleys were unloaded and ready to rock in roll.Missles lighted the night sky on thier way towards the captiol.

On the high seas, we have destroyed several enemy ships (supposedly) and we are beginning to fight back against the submarines.

My SFs have been in your country since the beginning. I posted that they were being sent in. So yes they can. And u want to talk about godmoding what about your 800,000 man army?I can say your men are running I didnt post casualties for you.

Inteceptors once again were shot, and destroyed the few missiles that were shot, exept for one, which landed in a school.

At that, orders were send to fire the cannons. The Captain sent a message to Sea Conquest II, the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier that was .6 nodical (sp?) miles of the stern of the Voyance I.

Just after the message was sent, the Voyance I (named after a great Admiral 100 years again in ViZion history) began firing it's cannons.

Onboard the Sea Conquest II, all screw were scrambling to their position as the planes (Sea Ninja's, F-16's, and F-14's) prepared to take off.

Our forces continue to advance at a slightly lower pace. The conscripts run at the sight of our battle hardened troops but there are so many it takes a long time to capture them all. Our Special Forces are fighting in the capital with pro government forces.

You cant all of a sudden have your Spec-Ops in my capital! And you cant say that my men are running. DOnt Godmod...

"Holy Crap Sir! What do we..." The ship exploded. ARound it, several ships exploded as they were hit by missile fire.

In the meantime, a submarine was heading towards the primary ship in their fleet. Without warning, it fired its first tube, and a torpedo raced out, heading straight for its target...

As the missles were incoming , the bradleys used thier anti-aircraft weapons to shoot down 95% of them. As the bradleys pushed into the city they ecnoutered little resistance. The Captain wondered why.
"Private, why would thier be little enemy resistance in a port city?"
"Sir, perhaps they are hiding inside the center of the city or they have land mines.Sir."
"Very well. Order the ships to come into harbor and scan the city with the satelite for landmines."
"Sir yes Sir."

OOC: My forces take up an Overwatch position to keep an eye on the hostilities...My Ground/Airborne/Marines will enter to secure area's already taken...so that their forces can continue moving up...I'm also dispatching a Hospital ship to my location to assist the allies who may need medical services...My ships are @ General Quarters and will fire on any which looks like a hostile manuver towards me or my men/ships...Currently anchored 13 miles offshore...Just beyond territorial waters...will move if needed by ViZion...

Before they could react, the ship was hit, exploded, and killed nearly 1/3 of the crew, and injuring almost everyone onboard.

A siren rang out, and then, "Abandon ship! Abandon ship!" It kept repeating. The Vizmark II (A Iroquois-Class Destroyer next the to Voyance I) began sinking, taking with it much of the crew. The Undefiable, another Aegis-Class Destroyer sent a message to Undersea Wolve, a Seawolf-Class SSN, requesting backup. At the same time, the Voyance I attempted to contact the hostile submarine to stand down, or, as the message said, "you will be hunted down and destroyed."

Neros, the leader of the nation and his ministers have vanished. People are speculating at the idea that he has fled the country. Therefore, the nation without leadership has no choice but to surrender!

All throughout the nation, armed forces are laying down their weapons, and are surrendering to coalition forces.

OOC: I expect that this will turn into a bit of an occupation RP now?

At the request of our allies , ViZon , we will move all our ships into the harbor of Lagos.
Our bradleys pushed towards the capitol. They were slowed down though because they had to follow a strict path or else being blown to bits by the landmines(satelite imagery map).

The following is what has already or will occur...

1st Airborne Corp has landed & secured their LZ...Defensive fortications were built.
Units to be sent out to pacify/aid surrounding villages/towns/cities...

Amphib Units are landing & establishing Defensive fortications on the beachhead...Preparing to move on Capitol...

Marine Expeditionary Brigade/Units are pacifying rebel strongpoints...Encountering heavy resistance in area's

All Airwings providing Interdiction/Air Superiority overhead...Declared AR airspace a no fly zone to all non allies...Transgressors will be painted & warned...Then shotdown if they ignore.

All Enginneering Units will finish defensive fortications then move onto minefield removal & infrastructure rebuilding..i.e..roadways,harbor

1st Airborne will assume a semi permanant garrison until such a time as this nation can prove it can lead itself.

IC: ViZion's forces are now moving into the African Republic. We will be sending in peace keeping, and moving our our troops quickly.

We will be working with the people of the AR to rebuild their nation and get in a government they wish to have in there that will be for the good of the people of the world and the AR.
