A terrible scene of gore and dismemberment was witnessed by some
today at Rebeland Square. At his annual Rebeland Day ceremony, President Senor Dictator was shot repeatedly. Body guards that made efforts to revive the dehabilitated leader were shot as well. The perpetrators were immediately apprehended. Those responsible for the assasination (and massacre of eight body guards) were Rebelandi Socialist Radicals. These revolutionaries have already posed significant influence to the political structure of Rebeland through their propaganda, and flyers.

The leader of the group known as RSPP (Rebelandi socialist proletariat party, not fascist or affiliated with nazi's; regular moderate socialism) has assumed leadership over Rebeland. The new leader is know admiringly by followers as Herbert the Significant. The predominant majority of Rebelandis (despite the gruesome coup) are supporting this hostile takeover. Five minutes after Herbert the Significant was innaugurated, he assigned over 4500 jobs to local Rebelandi bums. He has also pronounced other intentions:
-Drastically improve Rebelandi schools.
-Increase the tax rates to develop more effective social policies.
-Abolish private enterprise.

Rebeland (as with all of Militantatopia) is a no-fly zone to non-inhabitants. As such, if any planes indigenous to your nation, or any others are spotted, they shall be annihilated.

Clearly, the people of Rebeland are acting to overthrow what they perceive to be an unjust regime.

To aid you in your overthrow of the despotic regime, Eredron is prepared to offer military and financial aid and backing, in return for certain...incentives, following your successful transition to national government.

Ground forces stand ready for limited deployment, as is Eredron's Strategic Bomber Force.

If there is anymore bloodshed the USN will have to act to prevent the lost of human life.

Eredron, we have secured the majority of the military, however there is an outfit of dissidents in the north east. They have been shelling our positions (resulting in heavy losses), if you could bomb the area we would be obliged.

Tu-170E Implacable Bombers will be taking off to hit the aforementioned targets with conventional cruise missiles and free-fall HEs. Further campaigns will be carried out as more information is gathered on the area.
