OOC: Based on the current size of my nation, yes, I know this might come as a little late, but I'm using this thread to show how my nation came to be...Also, I don't know if somebody officially or unofficially claimed this region already, but it wasn't listed in the thread stated above, so I'm going from here...

Crowds of yelling, violent protestors are marching through the streets of the capital, hundreds waving large, red banners with a hammer crossed by a sickle embedded in gold in the upper left hand corner of the flag...The people have risen together to overthrow the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enraged and driven by the words of one Boris Zvoryka, the head of this wave of chaotic madness. The leader of the country has spoken out to his people, to no avail. He's promised reforms, and was answered with revolution. They won't listen to him and his state-funded propaganda any longer...
2 1/2 hours later, Zvoryka has staged a speech in front of the capital building, thousands of citizens listening to his every word, the setting remeniscent of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, led by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin...Soon, a splinter military faction loyal to Zvoryka's revolutionaries (led by Boris himself) storms the capital building while state police are preoccupied with the crowds...Within a matter of roughly 15 minutes, the crowds turn to see the Kazakhstani President shoved onto the balcony, held at gunpoint. He is given a small microphone hooked to an amplifier, and utters his last words to a dissent-torn nation...
"Может государство, которое переходит меня быть одной из большей ценности ... прощайте, мои люди ..."
Zvoryka then lifts his Tokarev TT-33 to the back of the president's head and depresses the trigger, the 7.62mm bullet crashing through his head, blowing a large hole open above his right eye, sending a stream of crimson blood and pieces of cranium following after...The first and last blood to be shed in this eventful day...
Within the next few days, Zvoryka's quickly-established Politburo has rooted out dissenters and either had them shot or sent to labor camps in the South-Western region of Kazakhstan, and order may well have been established once again. The citizens of Kazakhstan soon listen to a national radio broadcast in which Boris Zvoryka addresses the "Republic of Leninist Russia", no longer known as Kazakhstan, but named after the nation that brought Communism into the world. He brings news of the Socialist future and of the prosperity soon to reach all citizens of the nation. Fighting erupts in a few small districts of the country, but is easily put down by Revolutionary Guards and eventually all rebellious activity ceases within a few months. The land of Kazakhstan is finally peaceful again and opens it's diplomatic doors to the rest of the world as the Armed Republic of Leninist Russia.
