With the Destroyer Magellan laying in the grey haze, half a kilometre off shore, the small skiff made its way through the breakers to the small landing - too rocky to be called a beach.

The diplomat planted his foot on the mossy rocks and declared, "I name this land under the eternal protection and care of Wolfish. Let it be known throughout the world that Niue is one with Wolfish."

With that the young soldier planted a small flag pole in the craggy ground, and unfurled the Wolfish flag.

IC: We congratulate our friend and ally Wolfish on the recent expansion of Wolfish interests into Niue. The Ministry of Trade will donate a truckload each of SPF-40 Sunscreen and high-strength bug repellent to our esteemed colleagues.

IC: The Iron Fragment congratulates Wolfish on the claiming of... *checks cue card* Niu...e. We also have a bit of experience colonizing tiny islands no one's ever heard off. We hope the Wolfish Niuen... Niuite... Niu-ish... outpost prospers.

The Government of United Elias officially recognises this peaceful takeover and we respect Wolfish for brinign civilisation to many far flung parts of the world.
