when you here Organized crime do you think of brutal Neanderthals that put horse's heads in peoples beds. as the Jingoistic States of United Mafias we try to promote a better image. if you would just legalize it you'd have a lower crime rate and a renewed sense of family. It is also a potant politiacl move, if you were to allow the Mafia's to exist then less cops would die, you could take care of other lesser more annoying gangs plus, the Mafia would become your friends now that they can do as they wish which in turn may eliminate most major crime.

Legalizing organized crime would only lead to an authoritarian rule by the leaders of the mafia. While "crime" would decrease because of the change in definition of crime, individual freedoms and property rights would be eroded as the mafia would be free to force their will on the citizens.

Direct from the Vatican:

The Papal States of Tameriel are fully against such an action. To legalize organized crime, would be legalizing all the ILLEGAL items, materials, substances, etc... that organized crime makes money off of. No is the answer, in Tameriel, members of organized crime will be subject to pursectution just as any other petty criminal.

We'll one up you.

We've organized drugs and prostitution, taking away the incentive to the criminals to participate in crime, the profit.

Want to try something illegal in Haaregradia? Try shitting in public, on a glass window while some old woman eats and the videotape it.
