OOC:My god.Can I call u moderators stupid pls?

I just wanted to start a war rp that would involve all the mods man!and a whole load of people.A word war if you will.

I thought it was about time that we have a big war with everybody taking sides.Personally,I thought that was a good piece of fluff to justify a war.You guys seem to lack a sense of humour.

It would have been exciting top have a whole load of people going at each others throats in such an rp.A war against the gods.In the game sense,you are gods since you can delete any other nation if they piss you off.

Concepts of IC and OOC: My nation is not a 'mod,' neither is it lead by a 'mod,' neither do you have any right to say that it is without consulting me. Inventing details of other people's natiuons out of thin air is the definition of Godmoding.

Mod nations in NS terms are not different from any other nations; they do not have 'special powrs' in roleplay terms from their mod status, and it's ridiculous to assume they do.

Also, nobody (who is a half-decent RPer) will declare war on Nations on the grounds that they are OOCly Mods. Declarations of war are an IC action.

So basically you guys are on an equal footing with everybody else and that the fluff doesn't work.Wonderful.

Next time before I try this shit I'll probably do a bit more research.Still,an opportunity lost.I wonder if the war rp actually could have occured.....what would it have been like.Probably worthy of the archives.

Moderation has absolutely nothing to do with roleplaying. Moderation is a completely Out Of Character thing, and none of the moderators play their nations In Character as gods like what you have in mind.

Nationstates has plenty of large 'world' wars, I think we're up to World War 9 or 10 by now. Also, the more people in a war RP, the more likely it is to end in a massive ignore bitchfest that isn't any fun for anybody.

Again, there are plenty of 'big wars' going on right now- the Nationstates community is too large and too diverse for a singularly massive war to happen, hence the roleplaying community is scattered across dozens of mutually exclusive universes. As of right now, there is a massive wartime situation in progress that involves no fewer than five of the moderators.

The mods have plenty of humor, but when it comes to trying to cross our roleplay personas and our modding duties, that's a major no-no.

More people in an RP= more miscommunication among players= massive amounts of bitching over details =/= exciting roleplay.

In a game sense, yes, we are 'gods' with the power to delete people. In a ROLEPLAY sense, we are nations with various backgrounds and goals, no lesser or greater than any other nation. "Mod" and "roleplay" are mutually exclusive things, and no, we cannot delete a nation 'if the piss us off'. We have rules we have to adhere to when using our mod powers, or else [violet] would come kick our keisters from here to next Sunday.

And that's silly WOMAN to you, pal. Not all of the mods are guys. Yes, an RP 'against the mods' is a lost cause, not because we're a bunch of silly homo sapiens with no sense of humor, but because moderation and roleplay DO NOT INTERACT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. Oil and water- they simply do not mix. Thank you for giving up on such an endeavor, for whatever reason.

And stronger language or not, flaming somebody will get you deleted if yer not careful. Flaming= personal attacks on one or more players. So you can get in trouble for calling somebody a silly, stupid man with no sense of humor just as much as for calling somebody a genital-sucking perpetraitor of sexual activities.

Hope to one day start a world war RP with nationstates.

There's plenty going on right now with nations of varying sizes- take your pick.

And this post is probably going to be locked after this post so I bid you adieu.And I stand by what I said.Compared to what a lot of others would say,I still think that all the mods are without a sense of humour except perhaps Tactical Grace.And you are all silly,not stupid.I asked whether I could call you that and I got a "no" quite firmly.So I shall stick to calling you silly.and naughty.and kinky.these are all very mild words which cannot possibly earn my deletion but might as it displeases the superior "gods".

and to think that I thought of starting a world war.Anyway,I view myself in an undeclared state of war with all moderators,their countries anyway.You enter my domain of the South Pacific or attack any country in the South Pacific or my allies,which is highly unlikely as you are all future high tech and will not bother with insignificant dots like me,I will use this as an excuse to declare war and use biological weapons.

And now I suppose that my nation will be deleted or hit with sanctions.
