Following recent events involving two nations friendly to the McLeodian Empire, King James V has taken measures to attempt to resolve the situation.
His decision took many hours, but he has finally decided to side with President Masaki of CoreWorlds, and has begun ordering heavy economic sanctions to be placed on the Fedral Union. As such, all trade goods from the Fedral Union are now banned under Royal Decree, and all Fedral assets throughout the McLeodian Empire have been frozen. Diplomatic relations will remain open, but all joint development plans have been placed on hold indefinately.
Furthermore, should any Fedral Union vessel attempt to enter McLeodian waters, said vessel will be intercepted by armed Coast Guard vessels.
