The Senate was in an uproar over this new incident, and is currently haggling over a bill to formally cut ties with TFU.

Following the actions of our ally, The Federal Union, The Empire of Beav II will cease all trade and allow no new trade to begin with The CoreWorlds.

The Imperial Senate will meet in an emergency session later today to decide what actions the Empire will take if it comes to war. While I am not bound by the actions of the Imperial Senate, I do take their actions in full consideration as the Imperial Senate is the largest representation of the Empire at this moment.

In my past experience dealing with interstellar conflicts, I propose that the two parties attempt to reach a peace agrement before armed conflict takes place.

I propose the following.

1) TFU and CW meet in a netural area
1a) If in space, on a netural vessel
2) All commerce and communications between the parties cease until this is resloved
3) The mediation is presided over by a netural party (not me as I am not netural)

This will prevent an armed conflict and prevent the loss of soliders and money to a long and costly war.

Fedral union congress has enacted the level 2 embargos and full sactions in to law and the fedral union has also devalued the cor world currency in its banks but delacreing them void all over the fedral union and colnys .

*Since the bill has been passed, the economy has fallen, but only to a point. Since there's no more relations, any further measures by TFU is moot.*

Should war break out between The Federal Union and the CoreWorlds, The Empire of Beav will maintain an isolation policy until events warrent entrance. Should entrance into this conflict be requried, then The Imperial Senate will convene an Emergency Session and vote to enter the war. At that time the Senate will also decide what to do about diplomatic relations towards the opposite side.

Any attempt by either side to sway The Empire of Beav II will be looked at as barbaric and will be seen as a mockery of the Empire.

There is no reason why we would sink a ship just to start a war. We all know war is costly, and I believe he is using a part of American history (Spanish-American War) in order to force us into conflict. Blaming us for an attack we would never do is lower than I had suspected TFU would go. Now we must defend ourselves in a conflict we never wanted.
