The Landing...(Introductory RP)
Something bright blue flashed into the atmosphere,then a searing lump of metal crashed into the ground at 150,000 miles per hour.As the smoke,debris and dust cleared,you could see a lump of charred metal dug into the ground.Anyone who came within 20 feet from it was boiled alive,at 50 feet you would be hot.
At night,when it cooled down,when some boys threw rocks at it,the only response they got was a dull thud,and the sound was quickly swallowed up.
2 days and 2 nights later,it had cooled down enough to be approached from 10 feet away.Another night later,it had completly cooled off.Thats was when the investigations began.Men from the nearby barbarian farming village hit it with sticks,while young children climbed all over the strange contraption.
Then,as a child stepped on a patch of darker colored metal,he was thrown off with a shriek,and a long,thing cannon rose up through where the child was standing before.Then it began shooting.Bright orange orbs flew in all directions,and when people were hit,they were consumed in ball of raging flames.
The survivors ran away,terrified.
Next week,every human on the island was a grossly mutated creature.

IC:The Imperial scientists had been relying on someone to activate the cannon and spread the virus.Their hope had been placed correctly.
Once the humans were transformed,everything would go easily from there on.The original 200 humans who were infected were the Carriers.From them spawned innumerable soldiers.From the soldiers came civilians.From the civilians came more Carriers.And so the process was repeated.
Over...And Over...And Over...
In a month,half a million alien life forms were skittering across the Atorian Chain.

The first expedition party to land on the main island was promptly massacred and infected by the soldiers and carriers.A month later,another expedition,having lost contact with their first party,landed on the island.It,too,was promtly destroyed.But one if its people sent out a radio transmission to anyone,consisting of 3 words:"We're*zkkk*bein*zkkk* attacke*zkkk*!"

OOC: Gotta admit, Gonarch of HL fame's a pretty good pic for a carrier. Great premise for a nation, by the way. I also pulled off the entering the atmosphere stunt. Of course, the difference is I have peace-loving hippy robots 8) , but...
By the way, where's this island where the aliens fell to? I haven't got anything busy going on right now, and if the area's nearby, I might post something in IC. Like I said, great idea for a nation!

The mutated fish had swum to other islands,and the birds flew.All over the Atorian Chain(Made up),barbarian tribes were waging war with the aliens.But their fight was in vain.Hordes upon hordes of Soldiers clawed every living human to death.And then the fish and birds started heading for the mainland...
OOC: I originally a longer post, but the net decided to be temporarily unavailable and I lost all of my litany. Here's a shorter one, I'll add more later.
IC: Various cameras strewn across The Iron Fragment's island, staring outwards in case of a sneak attack, now reverted to staring upwards as a strange flock of birds passed by.
"My God, what are those?" A03E, one of the five leading programs along with their creator, the supercomputer, asked as he watched through a link with the camera at the physical deformities of the birds. Some of them seemed so distorted that it was a wonder that they could fly.
"I haven't a clue, but I could analyze some of them," A05E said. "Order the Homeguard snipers to take down part of the flock."
Outside of central command, 50 Homeguard Snipers, slightly larger than the normal sniper droid, built for defense of the Fragment mainland, veered their built-in rifles to stare at the sky. Soon, birds began dropping like flies. Industrial droids moved in to carry the bodies to the research area, where A05E would begin studying them.
The birds began to get angry as their brethren fell.They swooped in,pecking furiously at the robots(which didn't do very much)and screeching in unnatural voices.
Meanwhile...
the fish had reached a fishing boat.With huge groans,they slammed against it,bit it,and just tried their best to destroy it.Finally the boat shattered into a million wooden fragments,and the unlucky fishermen who were thrown into the water were bitten and crunched to death,leaving only bloody water and a few fragments of bone to sink into the seabed...
"This is simply bizarre," A03E said, staring at the attacking birds through the link between the droids' cameras. "It's definitely not natural. Get the Homeguards to cleanse the things."
The basic infantry droid was a metric cube with treads, a built-in AK-74, and a basic A.I. The Homeguard was a specially designed version, slightly larger, with twin-linked Bushmaster rifles. Their purpose was to guard The Fragment (though they had yet to see any real action), and although this attack seemed minor, it was their duty. The Bushmasters opened fire on the deformed avians.
"Where have these things originated?" A02E asked the other programs as the Homeguards were busy firing.
"They were coming from the north-east. The cameras on that shoreline don't detect any other flocks, but it might do well to send a few marine patrol droids," A04E suggested.
Meanwhile, as the droids began to study the carcasses of the mutated birds, three patrol droids sped off towards the north-east, their cameras recording every step of the trip. Much like most droids of The Fragment, the patrol droids were very simple in their design. One would think a droid to be a highly advanced technological wonder. The truth was, only the A.I. was a technological wonder, and even that had been made low on the normal droids; otherwise, nearly all the droids were basic hýdraulic machinery operating on normal fossil fuels. But they did their jobs efficiently, and the patrol droids recorded several strange birds, all going in different directions, but originating from the same direction.
The Soldiers had set up a large perimeter around their islands and the land claimed in the mainland.Several civilians also seemed to be helping the soldiers,but to what purpose,noone,at least,noone human knew.Suddenly a soldier came running back to the others,screeching wildly.The others returned screeches.The soldier ran into the ranks,and the soldiers and civilians seemed to stiffen their lines.Several minutes later,the 3 droids appear.The soldiers let out a screech,the civilians a roar.Then the civilians spit something at the droid.Somehing white a corrosive.Acid.With a howl the soldiers then fall upon the droids,claws slashing,doing little damage,but continuous damage at that.After the droids have been finally shredded,the soldiers pick up the leftover pieces in their arms,and stalk off...

Meanwhile,a new type of alien began to fight alongside the soldiers in their conquest for territory.They seemed to have armor on them...but their skin seemed fused with the...armor.In reality,it was their skin.Hardened,almost titanium material skin.And they were using that to their full advantage...
OOC: Eh, the nation's cool, but I dunno if I can keep posting much. Keep updating the story though, or start up something new, it's a great premise! :D
IC: The programs stared solemnly at the footage the patrol droids had gotten upon beaching onto the island. The acid had destroyed two droids' cameras, but the last one had survived intact, more or less. It gave a good recording of the madness of the alien threat.
"Strange," A02E spoke up eventually. "They appear to be some kind of distorted lifeforms from an unknown source."
"They are a pestilence, whatever they are, and we are not to send any more manpower 25km away from that region," the programs heard a voice. They turned and saw their creator and mentor, the infamous supercomputer, had been listening in. "I also want the carcasses of the birdlife to be cremated and thrown into the wind. We'll keep a close watch on this island, but from a safe distance. I don't want these things coming knocking on our doors, and it'd be good to know of a head start."
OOC: Sorry for this, but I'm kinda busy with other stuff. It's usually safe to stop an intro rp after a few posts or so, and get in on the game. Although I gotta hand it to you, getting into the game with that kinda nation's gonna take skill. ...or those Xen master diplomats. :)
OOC:Hehe,yeah.And thats okay,I'm also thinking I this RP should stop soon(If not now)because it IS an Indroductory RP,after all.Game,naah.Solely RP.I'm going to be relying only on my populace from now on.Money...What would I do with that,get what I'm sayin? 8)
Anyway,so yeah,RP stops here,I guess.But perhaps I MIGHT get involved in something that you're involved in,so...yeah!Haha!
