we found no other NS country ocuping it.I do not recall them seceeding...
the construction of a navel construction yard has begun.Ah, well, I suppose yet another naval yard won't hurt me.
Prepare to be assimilated.
OOC: I can have six elite combat groups in your nation within hours, several carrier groups within striking distance of Sri Lanka in however long it takes to get a ship out of port, and six elite combat groups in Sri Lanka in practically no time at all. The local militia should be causing you lots of trouble right now. Care to leave my land?

provide links you RPed the land, or face the ignore cannion.I've been here for over a year. All previous threads where I mention my territory (except the RL Nations Claims and the Military Archives) have been deleted.
Anyway, I'm being generous by pretending I don't already have forces on Sri Lanka. My forces are coming from outside Sri Lanka, so the fact that I already own it isn't going to affect the battle.

Nianaaaargh's claim is verified in Chellis's thread, and seeing that he has been here for so long, I would think that it is substantially more likely he has Sri Lanka.

The planes came from the south, their roar overpowered by the heavy rainfall, the blanket of night hiding their smooth shapes. Inside their passenger pods, elite soldiers were silently waiting for the command to jump. These soldiers would be ghosts in the night, with their camouflage designed to hide them from both the human eye and thermal imagers. They were to make contact with the local militias, and combine forces to find and drive out the miniscule invasion force. The mission would not be easy -- the enemy task force was so small the militia had not been able to force it into combat.* However, they were up to the task -- they had been specially trained and equipped for such games of hide-and-go-seek. They would be victorious.
Soldiers floated toward the ground as still more above them tumbled out of their planes. They were fortunate RICKINSTINE had chosen to invade a week there was to be plenty of rainfall, the rain and clouds providing great help in hiding them from curious observers below. The lack of visibility worked both ways, but they did not expect heavy resistance upon reaching the ground.
Soldiers tumbled head over heels as they landed all over the locality. Soon after landing, gunships flying overhead covered their positions with smoke bombs. The soldiers struggled to get free of their parachutes and meet up with their comrades before the smoke screens lifted.
A small group of local militia hid in the shadows near the edge of a small town, watching the nearest cloud of smoke through their night vision goggles, and listening to gunships fly overhead. Nothing would escape them, they thought.
*You said it is small...If it is not that small, fine.
