Kazakhstania has long felt the need for a top of the range training aircraft, to teach all needed pilots how to fly our latest jet fighters. Modern aircraft, being complex and difficult to master, are hard to teach the ways of. We have created an aircraft that allows the teaching of new pilots with minimum fuss and maximum ease.

So, we release for export our brand new F-47 Jet Trainer Aircraft!

F-47 Advanced Trainer/Light Attack Jet

Design

Designed to be the worlds latest and greatest training aircraft, the F-47 was an ambitious project from the offset. It has been in development for longer than any of our other released jets, and we are proud of what we have come up with. Made to ease the role of training new pilots and provide a low cost ground attack aircraft, the F-47 paves the way for the future of the KAF.

This aircraft has many new ideas encorporated into it. The main shell is made out of a light Titanium Alloy in a Resin Honeycomb, and is reinforced. This allows huge G forces to be taken, up to 10G's. This allows the pilot to push the aircraft in complex traning maneuvers without risking the aircraft. Its strengthened shell and hard landing gear allow it to take the stresses of mistakes by the pilot.

It aerodynamic shape is a new design, and minimises drag, for maximum efficiency. The double cockpit is of simple layout, and can accomidate a teacher and pupil, in a flying classroom. Everything is simplyfied, and MFD's are common. This is the worlds most user friendly aircraft, and allows the pupil to learn with ease in the cockpit.

The new engine on this aircraft is both powerful and compact. It has been maximized to run on minimal fuel with a long range, and is fully 2D thrust vectoring. It can power the aircraft up to a proven Mach 1.7 and carry the aircraft at maximum 11,000kg take off weight. Its thrust is 13,200lbs in full mil power and 16,500lbs afterburning. This new engine is the tip of compact jet technology.

Systems

This jet has some new training systems, for ease of use. It, of course, has the standard JTIDS-3 system, which allows easy passage of information to friendly units including ground and sea units. The Kazakh-40 system is a tied together weapons system and Fire Control Unit, which is also linked with the JTIDS.

The new systems are our latest user friendly Fly-By-Wire controls and autopilot features, including auto landing and even AI in dogfights. An intercom in the cockpit is installed. The cockpit is filled with easy use MFD's and a digital HUD. The aircraft can even be fitted with helmet mounted HUD's, if they are linked properly.

The radar is a Pulse Doppler compact yet powerful radar, a scaled down version of that on the F/A-41. It can see out to about 80km away, and allows passive sensing aswell. The aircraft is of course linked to fire the latest R-77, R-27 and R-73 guided missiles. It is a powerful new design that we are proud of.

There arent really any specials systems on this aircraft, just some newly designed FBW controls and Autpilot. Almost every system, however, has been proved in combat as completely effective, used in real situations against real enemies. These systema are flaw proof, and many many have been sold.

Weaponary

The weapons on this aircraft are mainly for the Light Attack and Weapons Training roles, but still allow a huge variety of weapons to be fired. These include almost all of the Russian AAM's, American AMRAAM and AIM-9 missiles and a huge variety of ground attack weapons. There are all in all seven weapons hardpoints and two wingtip pylons.

The cannon on the aircraft is an GSh-301-1 30mm Cannon, a combat proven weapon for Air to Air and Air to Mud roles. The countermeasures include the latest Freedom Countrian Chaff and Kazakhstanian Flare systems, in two deposits on the tail.

We are very, very proud of this jet, and hope you will purchase many.

NOt only do we sell superior Yak-130's for $7.5 mil, but we would like to point out that TRAINERS DO NOT NEED THRUST VECTORING.

Thats might be a debatable point, it depends on what exactly you need in a trainer (the US navy doesn't actually use any weapons mounts at all on thier trainers) but there is the point that this is joining the trend of the single airframe to provide both your training and F16 replacement requirmeents.
additionally 2D vectoring is quite useful as it vastly reduces landing/take off space and gives an instructor a sort of emergancy assit if the student manages to bugger thigns up too badly.

IC:

Kazakhstania: The Crookfur MoD are currently undertaking a survey into possible options to fufil the requirements laid down under the Crookfur Military Flying Training System (MFTS) currently we have a couple of options put froward from Crookfur industries including proposals involving both privately and publicly owned aircraft schemes.
You are hereby invited to place tender(s) for the Advanced Jet Trainer(AJT), providing aircraft for both the airforce and fleet air arm and the primary instructor aircraft(PIA) contracts.

Our requirmeents stand at:
PIA: 200 airframes (current contenders are the EA-50 and an as yet unspecified aircraft from CF areospace)

AJT/AF: 650 airframes (contenders are the CFT-3E Super Hawk (think a crookfurised Hawk 128) and the CFT-14B Matrix

AJT/FAA: 200 airframes (contenders are the CNT-3F Super Goshawk and the CNT-14C Matrix N).

DT: if you coudl see your way to converting your YAK-130s to Aermacchi M-346s (essentially the same aircraft but with european gear) then you will be invited to tender.

OOC-
I could, only Id call it Yak-130E (E for export). Consider it to have been entered into the contest.

If you do use thrust vectoring, make it 3D, instead of 2D.
23-02-2004, 03:59
As we currentlly use outmoded MiG-21s and T-38s as Advanced Trainers, we require a new trainer for pilots allready qaulified for Single and Double Engine Radial and Turbo-Prop aerocraft, we would like to buy 5 for $100,000,000 to serve as testbeds and examples to build our own version, the AT-47.

Accepted?

Gah!

Crookfur, make a new thread.

We would, of course, love to place a tender into the competition thanks. We will make sure the best is put forward.

As for the TV, I thought of it in two ways:

A) If someone ever needs to use it in combat, in reserves or whatever.

B) If, as Crookfur pointed out, the pilot buggers it and the teacher needs to take over. I'd rather spend a little extra on thrust vectoring than lose the aircraft.

And 2D is considerably cheaper.

OOC-
Well, things like money do not matter in the Bisonic Army. Only preformance does.

Furthermore, we are confident that in terms of safety, the Yak-130E has a superior ejection seat-

A Bisonic innovation is the K-2000. This article is distinguished from the predecessor by the introduction of automatic equipment. Dozens of situations in which ejection is carried our have been placed in the seat’s “memory.” That is, the seat can “make a decision” for the pilot if the latter does not have time to react.

The present seats will not save a pilot at low altitude and in inverted flight, but the new seat will correct these deficiencies. Moreover, the new seat is 25 kilograms lighter.

Two stages of the firing mechanism have been built into the seat: the first ejects it from the cockpit, the second produces the necessary altitude for opening of the parachute. And the new seat is intended for the whole weight range of pilots – from 60 to 120 kilograms.

At least in terms of an ejection seat,
