We concur that the situation within Stuff and Shinies regarding potential haemovore takeover of that nation or at the least severe ongoing civil disorder requires attention.
This situation has been compounded by the fact that there has been little information leaving Stuff and Shinies, and that fact that our respective intelligence gathering assets have been turned in other directions, particularly with the current situation regarding Arda and the Triumvirate of Yut.
Accordingly we are attempting to discern the situation within Stuff and Shines at this time, including the present status of its head of state, and then we will confer with you and potentially other nations on a course of action to be followed.

Investigation of current proceedings in Stuff and Shines
Intelligence operations are under way to determine what, if anything, is going on within the borders of Stuff and Shines. These operations can be categorised into:
1) SigInt [Signal Intelligence]
Utilising listening posts in friendly neigbour countries, military satellites, DAMOCLES Panopticon systems, wire taps, signal interceptions, bugging, orbital satellite imaging and radar / thermal / deep geologic imaging, van eck monitoring of computer systems, hacking, and so on.
2) HumInt [Human (or demihuman) Intelligence]
Utilising human intelligence assets - actual spies, networks of informers, accessing and interpreting news reports and other official information, bribery, coercion, blackmail, false economic prospecting, and so on.

I have no idea how much of the above is practical in S&S. I will await further postings from S&S on what may work and the results therefrom, but have kept it general and non-roleplayed out for the moment until more accurate information to work with on a roleplay level is aquired.
