Today RFF began the WARRIOR program. This program includes genetically modifing unborn babies, teaching them to kill, and teaching them to love blood, death, and war. The babies were born today and have had subliminal messeging experiments done on them. That will be done every night until they are five. They will also begin watching films of war, death, and blood all day. When they are five they will begin combat training. These "people" are estimated to take almost all military jobs. They are super-soilders, and they are not paid. There will be no growth-accelerators and the first "batch" is around 200,000.

Instead of "creating" super samurai, why dont you just uprgrade your regular troops to the extreme...It just seems sort of cruel to train them from birth....and what happens if they tweak and start killing everybody...you wont be able to stop them if some thought of "everyone must die" is placed in there head, you're f*cked!

We wish you the best of luck with this project. Although we are agianst genetically altering anything, we are interested to see how this project turns out. It would be best to teach these warriors loyalty to their ruler and their country so that they don't get the mind to take it over.

Even if they weren't, this whole project is sick. War isn't some sort of hobby, its a crime against humanity. This project should be put to a close. If you altered the babies toward heightened intellect instead, that would be fine. But not these bloodthirsty abominations.

OOC: Being trained to kill simply isn't enough for a baby to be classified as a 'Super Soldier'. I've watched tons of killing in movies...do I have the potential to become one of these 'soldiers'.

Don't force them to watch war videos and don't send them subliminal propoganda, and furthermore, give them fair pay...unless, your government is too bloodthirsty and greedy to spare money on its army?

They are forced because the choice is made for them before they are even born. Being forced to satisfy the political leaders on their whimes is not the sort of life any sentient being would prefer to death, let alone enjoy.

Just a few points:

genetic modifications: Not in this lifetime i'm afraid, its another 5-10 years at least before we know what the majority of the human genome does (yes we have mapped it but that is only the very beginning) and after that a good 10-15 before we can properly mess around with it.

Induced genetic treatments are liekly within 10-15 years (ie the muscle improver thing they have trialed on rats and mice, of course it takes a long time from those basic trails before it is even remotely usable on humans as you need to work out the interactions and contradictions first).

Subliminal messaging:
Sort of works but not terribly well, ok for soem vague ideals and impressions but not much else

Watching war films:
Well if it worked for santa's little helper it must work for children...

I think that the supersoldiers won't be unhappy or miserable, becouse they'v never seen anything else, so what they are doing is normal to them. but I don't think this is the real issue.

All the parts highlighted are almost my exact words in my Sentinel threads.

We are generaly in favor of blood, death and war, but we do not employ children in our armies, and in the INS, where there is generaly more blood and gore as well as some people watching as their organs are removed in alphabeticle order (skipping 'brain') without anasthetic, INS doesnt recruit under twenty five.
RFF, it is suggested that you either cease the program, make something original or go away, 'cause if one of the above three does not look palatable, I have several free passes to the Information Retrieval Technicians workplace.

A frightening concept. While I applaud your ability to get such a program off the ground, your lack of human value disturbs me.

I am appalled by this. Essentially, you are creating life to destroy life. Do you not see how unethical this is? I would like to propose sanctions on RFF, although my nation lacks the resources to do this effectively. I ask others for support against this immoral program that RFF has started.
It is imperative to the further existance of human life, and breeding mindless soldier, who can do nothing but murder is absurd.
