Controversial Christ movies passes censorship

The new move "The Passion of Christ" directed by Gil Mebson passed the Jeruselem government censored untouched and was authorised for screening today. Censorship board member David Solomon said "Apart from the Jewish member, most of the board had no issues. The Arab member seemed to like the portrayal of the Jews pretty much".

Consersative Jewish groups said they will boycott the movie which seemed to be very popular with local Christians and Arabs. Cardinal Augustus Brown in Rome released a press release said "I've seen much worse portrayals of the Jews in local Arab productions. It's a bloody movie, but the Romans at the time were not nice people. It's ironic I'm in Rome for this statement".

Local American Jews (settlers) protested in the streets calling for a ban while locals noticably stayed away. The Queen issued she will not intervene in this matter.

OOC:ohhhhh how expected

IC:the GEM has a large proportion of Christians and Jews, the thing is they all realise the text in the bible is just that, many Jewish and christian leaders have seen the film and see it as fairly accurate, but preach to their flock that whne they see it they should not believe that all jews were to blame, and that is was the Jewish High council over 2000 years ago, "Forgive but Never Forget" is the stance taken by all religious leaders in the GEM

How much would it cost to play it in Central Facehuggeria? Our people have been hungering for a non pornographic movie for a long time.
