The Macabees

OOC: Nobody has it in Chellis' list of RL nations taken...
IC:
At 0300 the quiet night in La Coruna was broken when two large Macabee battleships, HES Caranza and HES Caracol, opened fire with a barrage of Maverick and Tomahawk missiles, as well as their massive 18" guns.
Thirty minutes later, 10,000 men landed south of La Coruna, between that city and Santiago de Campostela; near a town called Carbalto, some 20km south of La Coruna.
North of La Coruna 10,000 infantry landed at El Ferrol, and those quickly set out to capture Puentedeume and Betanzos, linking up with the souther pincer might quickly, some six hours after landing.

At the same time, at Hueval 200,000 Infantry, and 4,000 (mixed) armor, quickly landed at either side of the city, enduring some Spanish resistance, although the natives did not have the technology to make an impression. Light casualties were pushed aside as Huelva fell quickly after the landing, the mayor rather having the mighty Macabees as allies, not enemies.
Their example also forced the sourrounding cities to surrender rather quickly, including the large capital of Andalucia, Sevilla.
OOC: I'll wait until someone says something..then I'll keep on RP'ing.. if you have a claim to this nation "because you just do" dont bullshit.. you need to RP your claim..and seeing how nobody has I'll just ignore your claim and you'll have to land to oppose me.
