OOC: This is between Credonia and Geodarvia ONLY, so all other posts will be ignored

Emperor Sutton paces the floor of the Presidential Palace’s communications room, anxious and eagerly awaiting a reply from Queen Heyley of Geodarvia. The teletype remains quiet and lifeless. Alexander begins to panic and starts to wonder if his invitation was rejected by the Queen. Suddenly. The teletype comes noisily comes to life, and begins printing out an incoming message. Alexander rushes to the machine and starts reading the message as it continues to print out. The message says:

Subject: Reply To Invitation

Message
I humbly accept your invitation to join you there in your mighty and beautiful nation of Credonia. I look forward to the trip and most importantly, the opportunity to meet and get to know you. By the time you receive this message, I will be patiently waiting your arrival at my personal airstrip. The coordinates are: (not posted due to security reasons). I eagerly await the arrival of your jet.

After reading the message, Alexander nearly jumps for joy, by composes himself and suppresses his excitement. Then he stops to think for a moment, and decides that he would surprise her by showing up personally instead of sending a jet for her. Immediately he grabs up his body guards (enough to protect both him and the queen) and heads for the airport to board his personal Boeing 747.

Once settled into the plane and once it is airborne, he begins to get dressed and ready, putting on the finest and most expensive of his suits, his finest cologne and a pair of dark sun glasses.

Within an hour, his plane lands and rolls onto the tarmac and wait for the Queen before stepping out of the aircraft.

OOC: I hope its ok that I rp’d the message and rushed my post a bit. Im in school and pressed for time at the moment.

The Queen stepped up to the jet slightly nervously, expecting to be met by a unch of security guards demanding to know who she was. Instead, there was no-one and she walked up to the jet without being stopped.

((OOC: Sorry it's short, I'm on dialup and have to rush before I run up a phone bill))

As the Queen walked towards the jet, Alexander peered out from the window to get a glance of her. As he looked out the window, he though to himself.

"Jesus, shes so beautiful, like a godess" Alexander thinks.

He stood there for a few minutes watching her as she approached the plane, before coming to his senses and heading for the doorway. He sprayed a little squirt of breath mint to ensure that he smelled good, put on his sun glasses and stepped onto the stairs leading to the ground. His body guards closely followed, but he motioned them to stay, even though he didnt know her.

He descended the stairs smiling as he watched the Queen. When he reached the boottom, he walks up to her, takes off his sun glasses and politely bows to show respect.

"Good afternoon your highness. I'm Emperor Alexander Nicolas Sutton of Credonia. Its a pleasure to finally meet you." says Alexander confidently.

He continues.

"I hope i didnt keep you waiting too long. I came right out as soon as i recieved your invitation"

OOC: Yes, i was, but i changed my title to eflect the true nature of Credonia. Ive been calling Credonia an Empire ever since i took over Hamil

She took off her dark glasses, smiling with her mouth as well as her eyes. He was such a gentleman.

"Good morning Mr Sutton. It's a pleasure to meet you"

She kissed him on each cheek, still smiling as dazzlingly as she could manage. She was still tired from her rush to the airstrip. "It's such a nice suprise for you to come to meet me personally"

Alexander blushes and continues to smile.

"Please, call me Alex" he says before pausing for a moment.

"I suspect your a bit tired from rushing out here to catch the plane on such short notice. How about we get out of here."

Alexander winks and looks down at her luggage.

"I'll get those for you."

He motions for one of his body guards to pick up her belongings and bring them into the plane. He turns back to the Queen and cups his arm to let her hold on to him as they walk the short distance back to the stairs.

Her first impressions had been right - here was an intelligent, polite man with a sense of humour and looks to go with it too.

She took his arm and smiled again, but she didn't need to force it this time. She was already enjoying herself. "Thank you...Alex" She was not used to such informal introductions, but with Alex she felt like she was already talking to a friend. She couldn't wait to get to know him more, but she would feel embarrased taking him round Geodarvia so soon after the revolution. She had heard that Credonia was a beautiful place, but she soon stopped thinking when she saw the inside of the jet.

She wasn't normally a jealous person but this put her own transport to shame. She didn't try to stop the disbeleif from showing on her face.

Alexander studies the Queens face for a moment.

"Beautiful isnt it? Not ot brag but this plane is better furnished than Credonia One, the plane i use to run the country. This is more of a plane for me to relax and take vacations, or entertain..shall i say, very special guests"

Alexander seems to grin.

"Lets go back to my rec area. Its where i just sit back and lounge around, which i do all too much of now adays" he jokes as he leads her into his rec room.

Inside, the room, the smell of sweet citrus oranges fills the air. The room is furnished with very comfortable looking chairs and couches covered with the very best fabric that Credonia has to offer. The carpet is white and looks like feathers. To the front of the rec room is a complete entertainment system packed with some of the latest gadgets and gizmo's available on the home entertainment market. On the walls, which are also black, there are paintings from various famous painters. Some of them are worth millions of dollars. In the center of the room, there is a crystal and marble mini waterfall which gives the room a heavenly like atmosphere making it a soothing room to lounge around and forget all of the troubles of the world.

Before stepping onto the carpet, Alexander takes his shoes off so as not to dirty the perfectly white carpet. He walks further into the room and turns towards the princess.

"please, come in, make yourself at home. I know its only the afternoon, but would you like some wine or champagne?"

"Yes please, that would be great" she said. She didn't normally drink during the afternoon, but was, again, making a special case. Seeing him be so careful with the carpet, she too took off her high heels and followed him. She would soon get used to this luxury, at least, if Alexander kept her around long enough to let her.

Alexander gets out two crystal wine glasses that are outlined and decorated with 24k gold. He fills the glasses half way with a Credonian white wine called 'Grape de elegant" (OOC: i coulndnt think of a better name so no criticisms lol). This was the most expensive wine in Credonia, costing just over $700 a bottle. He hands the Queen a glass and sits down on one of the couches, looking up at her in a way that signals an invitation to sit with him.

"So your highness, tell me about yourself. What are your hobbies and interests? What do you look for in a guy, and what kind of man are you looking to get into a long term relationship with?"

She sat down obediently. He was probably trying to impress her with the glasses and the champagne, but she was already impressed enough anyway. She crossed her legs and rested her wrists delicately on the table as an excuse for taking time to formulate a proper answer to his questions.

"Well, firstly I was a soldier - they made us all go into the military - and they's where I found out that Geodarvia was a bad place to be. Me and my friends set out to make it right, and eventually we had enough money and support to kill the President and take over for ourselves. But now there's no need for Lt. Bailey" she smiled, "So now I'm Queen Hayley, and I prefer wining and dining to regular drills and beratings from the military. I guess my favourite things to do are swim, play squash, or just sit and talk to someone. Most men seem put off by the fact that I'll talk to them as an equal, that wasn't the way in Geodarvia b before GPF came along, but now I'm just looking for someone I can talk to." She took a sip of the champagne - it was by far the best she had ever tasted. She looked across to him. There was one question she hadn't answered yet, but she decided to give Alex an opportunity to speak.

"I see. I dont know what it is with guys. I guess its the mentality that women are below us. In my opinon everyone is everyones equal, but then im a liberal so that has always been my mentality. And actually, im looking for the same thing as well. Ive never really been in a relationship. Dont really know why. I guess its because most of all the so called ladies only look for guys with money and things of that sort. Its depressing." He sits and thinks for a moment before taking a sip from his glass.

"So, why was Geodarvia such a bad place? What was it like before you seized power?"

The plane takes off and begins its journey back to Credonia.

"A dictatorship can be a good thing, but in Oldfield's case it was a way of life - he lived only to better himself at the cost of others. He had very few supporters but those he had were glorified. Geodarvia was full o drug addicts and bums. We've given the drug addicts places to go and the bums ways to look after themselves" Were they really going to talk politics all the way there?

"You know, ive had a rough life in the past my self. I grew up in a lower middle-class family. Just My dad, my mom, and I. This was all before chassidy was born. But anyway, we lived in Jefferson City, one of the major cities in Credonia. The part we lived in was one of the worst places to live. There were drug dealers and rampant crime and it seems as f the police werent in control. I wouldnt even be surprised if they were involved with that stuff either. It was hard living there.... *sigh*" He stops talking and thinks for the moment about his past as a tear rolls down his face, but he quickly wipes it off.

She saw the tear but said nothing. He was perhaps just a little too sophisticated for her - too normal. And although he was a ruler of a powerful country, she detected a hint of weakness in him. She smoothed her skirt and tried to look sympathetic.

OOC: all men have weaknesses ;-)

OOC: can we postpone this rp for a few days because i just broke up with my gf/fiancee and the subject of love is a touchy subject right now since i have to battle for her heart against another guy, which lost all respect from me.
