Early this morning eleven Seglawi carriers birthed at Oman to accept control of the country in the name of Sheik Mohammed Bin Al Deeb of the Bedou.
The Government of Oman, had been suffering coruption at every level.
In a last ditch attempt to save the people of Oman from tyranny Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said . turned over power to the Bedou Sheik Mohammed, in hopes that the Bedouin traditions will cleanse Oman of vices and the devotion to manners and courtesy and honor will be reinstilled in the Omani people.

Sheik Mohammed said "It is with a heavy heart I send our Bedouin brothers back to the turmoil of the Mid-east, but we cannot turn our backs on a people in need. We will craddle Oman until she is healed of the sickness of greed and ambition. Let the Omani people find joy and peace and the Prophet's mercy."

The transition teams arrived among the Omani today.
Some among the people seemed less then enthused.
Bedou hopes all will go smoothly in Oman.

I am sorry my friend, I am hoping your Oman is in a paralell universe as California controls, Oman, Yemen, and Iran.

According to CHellis you have to RP it to get it. So do you got an RP, or are just an older nation who has 'decided' its yours?
I have not seen Oman mentioned once anywhere. INcluding the list of controlled nations.

The nation of Skibereen still being dependent on oil. Would like to offer Bedou contracts to build and operate two tankers in the gulf for us.
We believe it to be a far safer prospect for locals to operate in that region then foreigners.
We are prepared to pay an annual operations cost, as well as subsidise securitiy expendatures.
The Omani coast seems a fine base of operations for this being a low profile nation.

Actually the Straits of Hormuz are connected to the UAE and not Oman.
So it really has nothing to do with my claim.

EDIT: I see it now, well to be honest that is far too a strategic position for Bedou politics.
So we would not want it. I imagine the UAE would be more then willing to absorb it.
Or you could land on it a nd join this RP as a joint peace keeper.

The RL Nation Claims thread is b.s. It's not law. For example, me, Dr_Twist, and Artitsa, and probably a few other nations claimed Yugoslavia, Croatia, and Slovenia; but that doesnt mean anything. I think it still says that I own it because I claimed it first, but still, I wouldn't go by that thread as to who owns what. It's not legitimate. Most nations on there claim nations without RP'ing it anyways.

OK, then what is someone supposed to go by?
I realise the RL thing is not law and I could just claim Oman, or america or whatever strictly for RPs sake.
And there is nothing that says Belem didnt control those countries, but the fact remains most people go by that thread, Belem wasnt the owner 'officially' soi he didnt 'officially' give the countries away.

Well lets see alot of peoples posts were purged that claimed most countries. For example my region took control of South America back in July I got Panama and one other country(have to check my records on my home PC) all posts back down were purged from the database. Now I never saw this so called "official NS claims thread" so since someone else just said they control Panama means my claim means nothing now? I made most of my claims months ago about countries.

So the official list is B.S.

Also if the list says no one owns Oman, then technically we claimed it before you and we own it.
