I am saddened to have to announce that a state of civil war has been established on Hoko Island. The Island's approx 200 000 strong population have been divided for some time over the issue of the union with Cayo.

The HFF (Hoko Freedom Force) declared all-out war against Cayo and her allies on Hoko Island this morning. I have ordered thousands of Cayan government troops to aid the Hoko Island council in crushing this force.

We suspect that the HFF forces are strong, and they have already gained control of the Hoko City docklands area and several rural areas surrounding the island's main city.

The people of Hoko democratically voted to establish a union with Cayo some two years ago. We will defend that union and crush this force of terrorists and criminals that want to see Hoko go back to a time when millionares and gang lords ran the island.

Ambassador Roberston paces the floor of his office when a staff member enters the room.

"Ambassador! There's a revolt on Hoko Island. Cayo is sending in forces to aid the pro Cay government."

"Notify the Cayoan President. Tell him the Corneliu stands with him and we offer our resources to assist in this action. Also tell him that 500 Marines are available for immediate deployment followed by 2000 soldiers of our army."

"Right away sir. Anything else?"

"Tell him I want to see him to discuss this matter."

"Yes sir."

With that, the staff member left to follow his orders.

It is our humble duty to support you in this matter. We can deploy forces to aid you in defeating the rebellion that has taken place on Hoko Island. 500 Marines stand ready should they be needed. Also 2000 soldiers of our army can be deployed very soon to assist. Also, Ambassador Robertson has requested a meeting to discuss this situation.
