rebels have taken over a military stronghold in the mountains and all the high tech equipment there as well they are currently pushing there way down to a military storage area where significant hardware is undergoing maintence. They hope to push to the port city of Al-Quada where the 'broken arrow' the flagship of the ARN is currently docked. government troops are fortifiing several small villages along the route to Al-Quada. international help is sought to push the rebels from the country, the rebels are believed to be financed by several powerful terrorist organisations.

The Holy Empire of Crossman would like to send 300 F-16s, 200 F-22s, and 20,000 troops to help.

I'm afraid retreating is not an option for the Armed Republic of Quillaz. For you see, our small population of Quillaz men and women have been yearning for a war ever since we came to be. It's a part of our natural instincts.

This war will also provide our nation with some experience in the battlefield. After endless years of training, our soldiers have become rather...enthusiastic about heading into battle. Bravo Company had been waiting in the woods since before nightfall. The company's commander, Lieutenant Taylor, was waiting for the signal to attack. He looked through his nightvision goggles and saw rebel lookouts pacing back and forth along their compound perimeter.
Private Rodriguez looked up from his comm-link, "Sir, HQ says the birds are in the air."
Taylor grinned, "Thank you Private. Heh heh, here we go you bastards."

A screech filled the air and then explosions as the night sky lit up, fireballs rising from the rebel base. Then the sound of the Crossmanian jets flying away after dropping their explosive packages.

Taylor yelled, "That's our cue boys!"
The woods errupted with the sound of "Hail Crossman!!!" as hundreds of Crossmanian Marines leaped from behind the trees and ambushed the rebels. Gunfire filled the night, muzzle flashes everywhere.
A rebel reached for an extra magazine as Taylor rushed him and caught the rebel with his bayonet.
"You rebel scum!", Taylor yelled as he continued to lead the charge.

Upon hearing of the conditional acceptance of troops but without use of biological weapons,the troops sealed away the anthrax warheads tightly within the missile destroyer's stores.If would only be used as a last resort,if it was required of it.

The LPD filled with the many soldiers and the Guided Missile Destroyer Mahathir's Claws along with 2 supply tenders navigated their way to the capital city's port.The port controllers of Atheist's Reality signalled them to an anchorage area just off the harbour.

Waiting in the twilight,the soldiers readied for deployment,their warrior religion of Ilku motivating them to prove their worth,to show mercy to all enemies.

Onboard the missile destroyer,cruise missile were readied by the dozens as more were brought out from the stores and even more were produced by the supply tenders who bought a constant stream of materials needed from the industries of AR.Their fabricators working overtime,they were all prepped with 10 megaton conventional warheads.Upon permission from its allies,it would start bombarding the mountain base from the safety of the oceans.It looked like the rebels were going to have a blast.

From 4 submarines, submergenced near coast of Atheists Reality started 64 rockets Cruise-class, armed with EMP-warheads. They take course on rebell-controlled mountains. All explosed almost simultanously 20 meters above terrain, where the enemy quarter. If the rebels have any electronic-directed anty-air weapons, then they was no more...
"The second stage is started, Herr General"

On that signal 60 VMe-400 (populary called "Hornisse/Hornet") started vertically from bases, fly about 20 kliks and begin to drop their deadly rain over resistance positions...

"In the name of the Creator,by the path of the Ilku,show no mercy to these scum.Launch the missiles."

As the order was given by Captain Chopra of the Destroyer,120 cruise missiles with 10 megaton conventional warheads flew towards the mountain base of the rebels.Theirs were shaped charge warheads,designed to funnel all force of an explosion in a 20 degree cone at the point of impact,directing all the force into the target.

The cruise missiles flew low,hugging the terrain to minimise the chances of detection and interception.With all rebel air defence systems down,brought down by an allied EMP blast,chance of successful delivery of payload was calculated at 100%.

Slamming into the mountainside,the cruise missile penetrated into the side of the mountain and detonated,their countless blasts rocking the hardened rebel base.10 volleys of missiles were launched,all in number 1200 cruise missiles.

Enormous chunks were blown out of the mountain,reshaped by the detonations.Within,sections of the base had collapsed,while some sections lay open,exposed to the free air,exposed to attack by allied forces of the Crossman and Ilham troops.Losses of the enemy were as yet unknown but estimated to be high.

At the base of the mountain,the Commandoes began to deploy.All in all,they were a mobile group of 50.Dressed in camo cloaks and body armour designed to withstand projectil weapons up to 12mm and melee attacks,armed with an assortment of SAR 21's and AK-47's as well as MP5's and laser designators,they dispersed in groups of 10,dissapearing into the alpine forest of the mountain.The designators would allow them to call in airstrikes by the Commanche Stealth Helicopters.A single Chinook was deployed as well,to grant them mobility.Linking up with the veteran Crossman marines,they flanked them,protecting the main body of troops from attack from the sides and rear.

Cpl Indramuthy looked at the mountain that had collapsed in on itself in some sections,the bombardment having collapsed who chunks of the mountain and reshaping it,causing it to be 500 metres lower than it previosuly was.He exhaled in wonder at the firepower that could do that to the mountain.He had only heard the distant crumps as the warheads detonated.

In his squad,he ordered his fellows to deploy in a 5 metre spread,their camo cloaks blending in against the background,minimising their visual and thermal signatures.Crouched down,he looked at the killing fields where the Crossman marines had slaughtered the rebels.A rather one sided battle in his opinion as he looked down at the decaying corpses of the rebels.Taking a flamer,he had burnt the bodies into an unrecognisable mess.Bits of bone poked out from the charred corpses,their bones now being pecked clean by carrion birds.

Meanwhile,the 4 other squads under overall command of LT Indrisa had circled the moutain,targeting anything that looked remotely hostile and calling in helicopter strikes by the Commanches.In the alpine forest,the incendiary warheads and FAE bombs used to destroy enemy assets had started several forest fires,scarring the mountainside and leaving huge clearings in the forest.Cpl Indramuthy really hoped their allies didn't mind the overkill,which was part of the Ilham military philosophy.It was summed up in one mantra-"Overkill.Overkill.Overkill."If there was one thing they did not believe in,it was moderation.

Suddenly detecting movement on his thermal scope,he quit his wandering as he zoomed in on a troop of dishevelled rebels,their uniforms burnt and tattered.Ilham philosophy was to give an enemy who had been soundly beaten every chance to surrender.After having been tricked by the rebels who had suicide bombed themselves after they had surrendered,in the process costing the commandoes 3 men and another 8 who had been airlifted to the LPD for treatment,policy was now to attack any rebels from a distance without offer of surrender.

Zooming in on them with his rifle scope,he loaded a Nuclear bullet into the chamber.It was a specially designed round.One that the boys in R&D back home in Ilham had cooked up.They had designed a bullet that upon impact,would detonate its small nuclear load of plutonium,causing it to destroy everything within a 50 metre radius.the Cpl was over a kilometer away.So far,they had proven to be ineffective in field tests and were going to be phased out,recorded in Ilham as a failed attempt at infantry-level nukes.This was the last bullet in existence and had been given to the commandoes as a 'gift'."Might as well not waste this one" he thought,sincerely hoping that the radiation didn't leak out like in did in the tests back home.Exhaling deeply,he fired the bullet and closed his eyes as a white light flashed before him,followed by a shockwave of air,heat and sound.

After 10 seconds,when he opened them,he nearly shat in his pants.That last round had left a crater over 700 metres wide,the edge barely 300 metres from him.The shitheads back home had overpowered the bullet.Asa rain of dirt impacted on him,he found no trace of the rebels.At least it was a 'clean' nuke,leaving no lethal radiation.

He really hoped their allies didn't mind.Cos now,they had another gigantic crater blown into the mountainside,which to his limited understanding,was an important part of the culture of their host country.

Checking in with his other squads,he trooped into the Chinook that was powering up,ready to pick up the Commandoes and other troops to return them.Meanwhile,the Commanches made numerous strikes,strafing the exposed areas of the base with depleted uranium armour piercing shells and Netanyahu dumbfire missiles.

IC:I apologise to my allies but after having contributed to the destruction of the rebels of AR,I have to withdraw my trops.I am preparing my forces and reserves for a massive war of liberation that will take up my whole army.

Sensing the war coming to an end, General Diablo sighed. "It seems a shame how we all got sucked into this, eh men?"

"What do you mean, sir?" replied Commander Farsight.

"What do I mean? What do I mean?! Look outside man! Thousands, millions dead! What do I mean...Hah!" The General lit up his cigar.

"Sir, are you implying that you don't want to be here?"

"Damn straight I don't want to be here! For God's sake man, I have a wife and two children!" Tears could be seen running down the old man's cheeks.

"Sir, we are fighting for our country, our leader, Quillaz."

"Damn Quillaz, damn our country! Look at me now...a big 'ol General fighting for his country. What a hero! I don't see Quillaz himself here...if he was, I'd..."

The men looked at Commander Farsight, shocked at what he had just done. There, beside the stained wall of red, stood Commander Farsight with his laser rifle. "We fight for our country, we die for our country. Today, we will die with honour! Today, we shall show these fools what the meaning of Quillaz is!"

The men roared with encouragement.

"Hurra men, Hurra!"

The few soldiers left, totalling 2,013, combined with the 1,980 rebels cheered, "Hurra!"

"General Farsight sir, we have spotted Emporer Crossman's army. What do you recommend?"

"Position our sonic tanks. I want our snipers in defensive position Beta Z Alpha" said General Farsight. "Make sure our Photonic Interceptors have our back from the air."

The bulk of the army was in position. All that was needed now was for the Crossmanian army to run into the ambush.

"Look at them," said General Farsight, "Men and women all fighting for the same cause. Quillaz would be proud."

At that moment, Farsight's CommSpeak went off. "Sir, Crossman's army has just joined the party."
"Fire at will," replied the stone-faced General.

The remaining 80 sonic tanks fired their powerful electromagnetic shockwaves. Soil, stones and all organic material vaporized. The shockwaves boiled the armor as well as the flesh of the unfortunate souls who got in its way.

Photonic interceptor aircraft fired their laser cannons, causing chaos, while awaiting the enemy aircraft units.

Snipers aimed their sniper guns at the bewildered enemy troops. Hundreds of thousands of laser bolts were being fired, along with the Sonic Tanks' shockwaves.

Commander Farsight spoke into his CommSpeak, "Rifle divisions flank on my go." He lit up a cigar. "Flank."

The rifle division poured out of the dense forest behind the enemy, taking them by surprise.

Commander Farsight puffed on his cigar, "Rebel divisions...flank."

Rebels poured out of the dense forest from the enemy's right firing their primitive machine guns and mortars at enemy soldiers.

Commander Farsight smirked, "Today we will die with honour..." And he firmly gripped his laser rifle running towards the battle.

The front column of of the Crossmanian forces were talen completely by surprise. Troops and tanks further behind began to pull back to reinforce their positions.
