Rebellion In Limavady

14-02-2004, 15:17
(OOC: Firstly let me say that I am sorry if this is in the wrong place)

At 9am local time a group of between 5-6 masked and heavily armed men stormed into a local parliment building. The men claimed to be part of a new rebel group called Sons Of Freedom. Within a matter of minutes an alarm was raised and the building was surrounded by police.

The men made demands that civil rights should be increased in the state, and that more money should be put into causes such as trade unions, other demads were made at the time such as the total of £1,000,000 to be placed into a bank account along with a chopper. They claimed that if the demands were not met that one hostage would be executed every hour.

During talks one of the rebels held an elderly man and put him towards an upstairs window, a shot was fired and the glass was stained with blood. At this stage the Elite Guard were called.

The Elite Guard stormed the builidng and using all means necessary stopped the rebels from harming more hostages. Out of the 6 men found to be in the building 4 were shot dead, 1 was badly wounded and the last one surrendered and is now being put on trial.

According to all known facts, these men were all of the members of the Sons Of Freedom organisation and current reports show that the group has been terminated.
