The rifle is not a rifle. but is a small mini-gun in a rifle style body. mostly 9mm. but can be changed to acomdate better sized ammo. if intrested plz contact me

...is this thing hand-held? Because if so, the recoil is going to be horrendous.

I agree How does one aim this contraption without spraying bullets into everything instead of the intended target?

hmmmm well seeing as it is only 9mm i doubt it would have that much recoil even if it was a minigun. Other factors such as wieght would also determine the recoil. i guess the real question would be how much grainiage is behind the 9mm, because 9mm is the same thing that a mp5 shoots, wich have relatively no recoil.

Some serious stats of this 'rifle' and preferably a pic would be required before our military can invest any funding in these firearms.

You are thinking of 9x19mm Parabellum, which does actually have a degree of felt recoil, it is also very short rnaged...

9mm could cover a wide variety of rounds anything from vastly under perfoming rubbish like 9x17 (.380ACP) to massive longe rnage rounds like 9x90mm MEN. For a rifle round in 9mm to have anything like enough rnage it would likely have to be similar to 9x39mm (new soviet "quiet" round) and quite likely bigger...
