The Rebelandi government announced today that all forms of religion are hereby prohibited. Atheism has thus been declared the state "religion." Religion was believed to have encouraged ignorance. The final straw was when a group of heavily involved school children refused to accept evolution. The government has acted promptly, and so far there has not been any dissidence.

While most Haaregradians see these methods as barbaric no one honestly cares. The 0.05% still practising religion within our nation are slowly dwindling and have been since the 1930s.

Why doesn't Rebeland simple start a program to reduce the number of people who practise religion by allowing them to naturally decline and keep the teaching of religion to a minimum?

What you should have done was ban all other forms of religion except for the blessed and sacred teachings of Allah in the Koran. Allah brings happiness and martyrdom. The Koran teaches that only the strong and pure of heart will strive to free the honorable people of Islam. Your people could be those people!

It is not a government's place to make that decision for its citizens or to take their lives for dissenting. Once you supply appropriate evidence that your government is the moral authority on all things, the Federation will reinstate recognition of your government. Until such time, all relations with the government of Rebeland are hereby dissolved.

I am afraid compliance is an impossibility. The benevolent, all-knowing government selected atheism in the best interest of Rebeland.

It is not ignorance but simply satisfying your peoples need for a relgion when you the leader disagree with all the politics of the other relgions. Just look at the Protestant Revolution in Europe to see what I mean.

We disagree with Edolia. We side with Seversky. We, while our people are only moderately religious at best, believe freedom is the best virtue. Also, there may be something to the fact that the nation of Edolia is a dictatorship.
