The sound of an M16A2 shattered through the target range. The barrel, still hot from the rapid fire would burn the flesh off of any body. The range smelled of gunpowder. The academy was silent. The orc that was there for security stared in amazment. At the begining of the trial there was a full target. Now, at the end of the run, there was nothing but a corner left.
"Congradulations Kevin. You have successfully completed the academy course and will be attending the graduation..." The trainer was cut off suddenly.
"What is it?" his student asked.
"There's no time for the graduation. That was Sir Addamous himself on the broadcast frequency. Intel has received a threatening message from Grugoslavia. We're going to attack them before they attack us. You've just been recuited."

OOC:
1. This is an Invite Only thread. If you are not invited, do not post here.

2. This war will have absolutly no effect on any nation particapting in it. This means that any losses that occur during this war will not be accounted for in any future wars. This includes people, buildings, places, equiptment, etc.

3. No godmoding... obviously.

4. The first post has been worked out by everyone mentioned, so don't say that I am accusing anyone.

5. After this post, please try to keep OOC comments to telegrams so as not to fill this thread up with nonsense.

The Grugoslavian Ambassador in the capital hands the Foregin Minister of Addamous (whether that's his title or not I'm not sure, srry) a communiqué from the Politburo (the Grugoslavian gov't, for future reference)

The Grugoslavian Armed Forces are going to bring about the liberation of your oppressed people from the capitalist pig-dogs which have been running your country. Either allow a government of the proletariat to take power, or we shall place them into power for you. The Red Army and Red Banner Navy are quite capable of doing so, should it be necessary.
The Android

Central Intelligence Facility for The Android:

Android #458299546 speaks aloud:

“Sir?”

A high-ranking Sergeant Android responds:

“Yes?”
“We have just received news of a major problem…”
“Of what kind?”
“It seams as though two of our greatest allies are…”
“Well…”
“Almost at the point of war, sir.”
“Damn. Who?”
“Grugoslavia, and… Addamous.”
“Get me Android Nine on the phone…” “Now!”
“Yes, sir, here he is now…”

“Hello?”
“Hello, sir, this is 1st Sergeant 8760000.”
“Hello, Sergeant, for what reason did you contact me?”
“We have a great ordeal on our hands, I’m sending you the report now…”
“Hmm…I see…”
“We seek your guidance.”
“Easy, we must support our newly founded ally. Grugoslavia.”
“Are you sure, sir?” “Addamous is much stronger.”
“Are you questioning me?!? Besides, Addamous is not the most faithful nation…”
“Then it is settled. To Grugoslavia’s side we will rest.”
“Now then, if war does come of this…be ready.”

"Sir, the 3rd Marine Division is afloat and heading towards Addamous. Our naval liason officer said that they should be in position to make a landing in less than a week." the aide informed the Commandant of the Grugoslavian Marine Corps.
"Good. Those Marines had better be well escorted. If my Marines are slaughtered, it will be when they hit the beach, not when they're in one of those ships where they can't fight back."
"The liason officer also told me that substantial elements of the fleet will accompany them. Most of the Western Fleet, and he said at least two aircraft carriers and several AEGIS-equipped cruisers and destroyers. I don't think you have anything to worry about. And besides, they can always just fly their own planes off the landing ships if that isn't enough escort."
"True. But I'm getting a feeling this isn't going to go as smoothly as it seems to be so far."

Over in the Grugoslavian capital, the General Secretary, the head of the Politburo, was addressing the nation.
"The Armed Forces of the Soviet Republic of Grugoslavia are going to bring about the liberation of our brothers in Addamous. For too long they have suffered under the oppression of those dogs who run the country. It is time that the workers of that nation had a government that works for their benefit and allows them to live in freedom, and since their government has not taken steps to achieve that, we are going to do it for them. My fellow Grugoslavians, I ask for your support as we embark on a great crusade to spread the Revolution to our unfortunate comrades in faraway lands."
