God! Looks like an unknown element that you did sumething wrong two. I guess the power relised must have been incredable. But those pictures, could an atomic partical be able transmit such pictures? Could they be *Gulp* concuss?

OOC: Personally I would have to ignore all weapons constructed to use this new material on the grounds it is future tech. Otherwise I don't see why they can't keep this futuristic material providing it stays in the correct time line.

panooley: I already explained why it is physically impossible, and even gave you examples. Do I need to do it again? You know shit about physics, given that you seem to have a 6th grade education about atomic physics. Again, I highly doubt that a 288 mass element would survive more then a tiny tiny fraction of a second.

It's a fact that U-238 exists for a few billion years

OOC: Hm... in all honesty I trust Attican Empires view on this, though it depends on what you mean by 288... is it an atomic number or an atomic mass?

If it was an atomic mass you would not be the first to discover it, as it would be an isotope of something like Lawencium, which has an atomic mass of 260.

However, this element is man made and is not found in nature. It has a half life of about a few minutes... it has a atom number of 103.

I would also like to add that your example "Uranium 238" has an atomic mass of 238, thus the name. It's atomic number is 92.

If you are talking about a new element with an atomic number of 288 then you are thinking of something which could be what you get in the core of stars... it's stupidly dense and would be a pretty silly claim.


However, in either case NS isn't about being 100% accurate, you can make up whatever you like... just don't try and claim something is possible without actually researching it before hand. We all make things up but it anoys people when you make something up and then claim the science is valid.

So I will continue to only ignore this new "element" on the grounds that it is future tech.

Atomic number, not mass. Scientists are trying (re)create all sorts of new and old elements and you call it future tech?

Really, there is no helping you is there.

Look, it's simple, if you want to use something for modern tech you have to prove that it possible to do in this time period, failing that it is either "near-future tech" or simply just "future tech" depending on how possible it is.

Now I will not dispute that scientist create elements, however most of them are pretty useless, the largest of them are not stable enough to last for more then a few seconds, if that.

If you can proove to me by posting a link of a element that has been invested anywhere near that you are trying to claim... I mean a atomic mass of 288? What the hell are you thinking? It's not in this reality... my last post stated that I don't mind you using something providing you didn't try to claim it was for modern tech, using it to create "uBeR L337 boms" which are getting close to claiming anti-matter technology... oddly enough we can create anti-matter now, in theory I can use your method of "science" to explain how it isn't future tech for me to have AM bombs.


So it's simple. I will ignore all nations using bombs which are powered by this material. As I do not acknowledge their existance...
