The People of West Pacific have spoken, they want a new Battleship for its Navy. They desire a ship with 24" guns for shore bombardment, this may prove impractical as 24" guns may capsize a ship if fired in rapid succession. This ship is not meant for anti-ship combat, it is meant strictly as a shore-bombardment platform, anti-ship missles and defensive guns will be put on the ship also, but they will be used in emergencies only as this ship will be escorted by many support ships and will most likely travel with the a carrier. We fill that a ship of this size (possibly as many as 5 turrets) will be worth the cost as shells are much cheaper than missles. Further more we would prefer a nuclear reactor for propulsion, some sort of anti-missle defense, and some anti-submarine defenses. Your help would be appreciated and production rights will be given to all countries who assist in the design of this ship.

The USSCR will help with the overall design. i.e. How the ship is able to stay afloat and upright with 24 inch guns. The specifics can be hammered out by other factions. We will be paid?

This battle-ship would be a considerble counterpart to the newly joint developed "Chimerea class"

Although, how do you propose to keep afloat 24" guns? as a military advisor is suggest a double hull principle I.E a catamaran

You wont be payed but all nations who help in the construction of this ship will get production rights.

We will probably use a double hull but not like a catamaran, more the Russian Typhoon submarine, two hulls placed inside one. A typical catamaran has an opening in the middle between the two hulls, ours will appear to e one hull. We will need some help for anti-missle and anti-ship defenses. We curently do not currently possess any good systems for these catagories. Also, just a reminder, only those who help in the design of this ship will get production rights.

Just a reminder, this is not meant for anti-ship combat, it is meant mainly for coastal bombardment, I have seen the specks of the new Chimera Class Battleship and I know that we would need lots of work to be done on our ship if we wanted to compete with it. We would also need the ability to keep up with it for speed. I believe it can reach speeds of 50 MPH, but ours will be escorted by a fleet of ships (the carrier will still be the backbone of my fleet).

not exactly subtle are you? the GEM will not tolerate this and will bring its power to bear....

Design and construction of this new ship has been postponed until the resolution of the war with ATA.
